This is hilarious, but is of course a stereotype and it is not indicative of how Germans really speak. My daughter lives in Germany and I have visited many times. Standing in a subway, walking on a street, eating in a restaurant...German people are softspoken and rarely have I heard anyone raise his/her voice in public. They would consider it rude. Listening to German as it is spoken in Germany, it is soft and beautiful and the letter "R" is not audible. Example: wasser is pronounced vahsuh.
