@shredmaster100 there is no way a GTR will ever do over 200mph cause first of all it is not areodynamic enough and you would never be able to get enough power out of a V6 to overcome the HUGE drag the GTR has it also has no downforce if it ever did reach 200 it would go air borne very easy and take off like a plane
just type in nissan skyline gtr top speed run u will see a skyline with 1300bhp go from 0to200mph in an unbeliveable 7 seconds thats faster than anything except a drag car

@Drake5153 its true probably not the purest motorsport. rally monte carlo. which ended yesterday is a finer cut, but the cars are not shitty. the supra turbo mk4 books used now almost as much as its initial asking price in 93, as much as 35-50k. the impreza wrx sti was the same generation that won 3 manufacturers rally championships, these vehicles have much more cred than an enzo ever will. most won't even be driven most of the time, despite the amazing engineering.

Ferrari Enzo = $1.2M Toyota Supra = $10-60K - If you were a Multi-Time Millionaire, you wouldn't care to add an Enzo to your own car collection. Speed, why Speed? Yes some people would love to invest $20k or more to make your dream Supra - What's the point of trying to Modify a Ferrari Enzo when it already has everything you need.
Lol, while a Enzo may cost a little more than half a mil when it was released (and going up to even the 7 digit range when all made were sold), a tuned Supra that has maybe a little over 10K invested into it will beat an Enzo. @brian1321 1st of all most tunes are acceleration-oriented and not top speed and so even if a Supra has 1000HP you can't expect it to beat an stock 1000HP car by Ferrari or Buggati in Top Speed.
2nd Having a car which is handmade and there are only 500 more in existence is important enough on its own. Nowadays you can get a used supra for 6000euros and because of that there are countless out there. It doesn't matter if they are tuned or not, they all look alike.

@FERRARIAVI The supra may not be able to take the turns as well as the Enzo, but it will surely give it a run for going in and out of the turns. The supra was unbeatable for it's brakes. No car had better braking power from 1993 all the way till 2004, when the Porsche Carrera came along, and barely beat the supra, as far as brakes.

@JesusTheFake The enzo has been legal in the states since day one. The fxx is the track version of the enzo which is not street legal. Some limited production supercars like the enzo get exempted from the safety testing most cars go through. you can try to look into the legal loop holes but it really comes down to the right people paid the right people and voila its legal.

@PD19954 I can understand JGTC... thats a no brainer.. Le Mans.. the Car finished 14th overall... next year.. they did not finish.. 1995, 1996 respectively. That was over 10 years ago.. and only competed twice. The Supra can stick to the JGTC... but even now its replaced by Lexus. Car has been out of production for 8 almost 9 years.. Sure its a great car for JGTC, and the 1/4 mile... but dont mistake it for a prestigious supercar like the Enzo.

@PD19954 Your right, its not a daily driver for her. My Father bought it because my Mother really liked the car. Saw it in a show room It was a demo. White body, white wheels with blue leather interior. My Father pretty much uses it when he golfs. They have had to replace the turbos.... the car has I believe only 78,000miles or so. Anyways not trying to create a fuss.. So I agree with your last statement. The Supra is in fact a great rocket ship exotic. just not Supercar status. IMHO.
@PD19954 The Blue Leather could have been ordered. I think the car was originally supposed to go to the Fincance Manager.... something happend possibly and they sold it as a demo. Not sure why the Turbo's went out.. but they were covered partially under warrenty... I guess my Mother smooth talked Toyota or something. Other then the Wheels being white and adding some tint... the care was stock except for the dark blue leather... had every option available. Runs like a champ still.
yeah they do have that ability, but one thing is for sure many people assume that cause its a toyota it drives like a daily driving grocery getter, not true. It guzzles gas, you feel EVERY bump on the road due to the race car suspension, limited sound deadning, and very sensitive driving. I am lucky to have some AC and power steering.
@JuergenGDB other than that she was VERY lucky to have the turbos covered under warranty. The stock turbos are insanly expensive! one of the design flaws was how the second turbo goes out under high pressure.

I think the problem with the Turbo's was the constant stop and go traffic, there is fan that comes on after the car is parked after driving?? not sure about that, because Im not to familiar with the vehicle, but my Mother was pissed because the car is so pampered.. she complained enough to get Toyota to fix the problem. I really do like the Supra, its a shame Toyota does not come out with another...
@PD19954 No im sorry miscommunication. I thought you meant she bought the car used... The car had only 250miles when she bought it as the Finacne Manager used it for about a Month. The Turbos were replaced about 78,000 miles on the car due to some failure. I may have miscommunicated that. The vehicle did have some sort of Timer as you say.. I remember the car always running for some time when she would park it after a drive. Young people always ask my Mother if she wants to sell it.

Ferrari Enzo = $1.2M Toyota Supra = $10-60K - If you were a Multi-Time Millionaire, you wouldn't care to add an Enzo to your own car collection. Speed, why Speed? Young teens and Adults get killed everyday because they think they can handle the speed. I love both cars, because Japan and Italy are my cars that I truly love. Lol, while a Enzo may cost a little more than half a mil when it was released (and going up to even the 7 digit range when all made were sold), a tuned Supra that has maybe a little over 10K invested into it will beat an Enzo. Of course, any vehicle heavily modified can probably beat a lot of other cars. What I'm saying is why spend half a mil for something when you can get the same thing for just something a little less than 50K.

Because I could sell that Enzo and just buy a whole bunch of shit for my Supra to make it JUST AS valuable (not talking money-wise) in comfort, handling, etc. for way less. For me, it would be enough to fill that craving I get from these cars. Maybe for you, speed is not the only thing that matters, but for some, it is all we need.

@brian1321 You could make a Supra made out of GOLD and it STILL wouldn't cost as much as an Enzo....Not to mention the brand name which Toyota will NEVER be able to match.
For most people SPEED is not everything, although i doubt that even a very tuned Supra can reach the top speed of an Enzo.

@brian1321 1st of all most tunes are acceleration-oriented and not top speed and so even if a Supra has 1000HP you can't expect it to beat an stock 1000HP car by Ferrari or Buggati in Top Speed.
2nd Having a car which is handmade and there are only 500 more in existence is important enough on its own. Nowadays you can get a used supra for 6000euros and because of that there are countless out there. It doesn't matter if they are tuned or not, they all look alike.

@FERRARIAVI The supra may not be able to take the turns as well as the Enzo, but it will surely give it a run for going in and out of the turns. The supra was unbeatable for it's brakes. No car had better braking power from 1993 all the way till 2004, when the Porsche Carrera came along, and barely beat the supra, as far as brakes.

I feel like the guy in the Enzo hardly touched the throttle. You never hear it really pick up like you would normally hear... that, and the Enzo isn't street legal in most places because it's ridiculous.

@JesusTheFake The enzo has been legal in the states since day one. The fxx is the track version of the enzo which is not street legal. Some limited production supercars like the enzo get exempted from the safety testing most cars go through. you can try to look into the legal loop holes but it really comes down to the right people paid the right people and voila its legal.

Every additional option you were ripped off for, most ppl can buy aftermarket at a more affordable price; the rest is a matter of personal preference. My supra, for example, isn't riced out, costs considerably less than a porsche and what's most important to me, can smoke the sh*t out of any of your ambitious cars

@PD19954 I can understand JGTC... thats a no brainer.. Le Mans.. the Car finished 14th overall... next year.. they did not finish.. 1995, 1996 respectively. That was over 10 years ago.. and only competed twice. The Supra can stick to the JGTC... but even now its replaced by Lexus. Car has been out of production for 8 almost 9 years.. Sure its a great car for JGTC, and the 1/4 mile... but dont mistake it for a prestigious supercar like the Enzo.

Trying to compare it to an F40 is crazy... stock for stock. What Im trying to get at here.. is that all the fanboys who think adding huge turbos and large wings makes it somewhat in the same catagory as a Ferrari Enzo... IMHO that is retarded.

@PD19954 I never said the car was not fast...Hell, my mother drives one, but I personally really do not even give them second glance.. and if I do, its only because they are a rare bird now since they have been out of production since 2002. But to put a Supra in the same catagory as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Porsche CGT, Hell even Shelby Cobra.

@PD19954 Your right, its not a daily driver for her. My Father bought it because my Mother really liked the car. Saw it in a show room It was a demo. White body, white wheels with blue leather interior. My Father pretty much uses it when he golfs. They have had to replace the turbos.... the car has I believe only 78,000miles or so. Anyways not trying to create a fuss.. So I agree with your last statement. The Supra is in fact a great rocket ship exotic. just not Supercar status. IMHO.

@PD19954 The Blue Leather could have been ordered. I think the car was originally supposed to go to the Fincance Manager.... something happend possibly and they sold it as a demo. Not sure why the Turbo's went out.. but they were covered partially under warrenty... I guess my Mother smooth talked Toyota or something. Other then the Wheels being white and adding some tint... the care was stock except for the dark blue leather... had every option available. Runs like a champ still.

yeah they do have that ability, but one thing is for sure many people assume that cause its a toyota it drives like a daily driving grocery getter, not true. It guzzles gas, you feel EVERY bump on the road due to the race car suspension, limited sound deadning, and very sensitive driving. I am lucky to have some AC and power steering.

@JuergenGDB other than that she was VERY lucky to have the turbos covered under warranty. The stock turbos are insanly expensive! one of the design flaws was how the second turbo goes out under high pressure.

@PD19954 Yeah, she bought the car with 250miles on it. I think the problem with the Turbo's was the constant stop and go traffic, there is fan that comes on after the car is parked after driving?? not sure about that, because Im not to familiar with the vehicle, but my Mother was pissed because the car is so pampered.. she complained enough to get Toyota to fix the problem. I really do like the Supra, its a shame Toyota does not come out with another...

thre is no fan but you can get a turbo timer which turns the car off after 5 mins. which is the required time to let the turbos cool

@PD19954 No im sorry miscommunication. I thought you meant she bought the car used... The car had only 250miles when she bought it as the Finacne Manager used it for about a Month. The Turbos were replaced about 78,000 miles on the car due to some failure. I may have miscommunicated that. The vehicle did have some sort of Timer as you say.. I remember the car always running for some time when she would park it after a drive. Young people always ask my Mother if she wants to sell it.
