It looks to me like a fancy mbox with a standard hard drive in a fire brick and antistatic bag I can get a small fire safe for $35 and 1tb ex drive for around $40 so thats $75 instead of $155 ok so I have have to unplug it to store in the safe or you can drill a small hole and fill it with fire cement once the wire is run.
@iToasterman they heat up too much, which usually result in short lifespan (even with sufficient cooling)... i just found it ironic that such an expensive fire-proof external hd, uses quite cheap mediocre hd instead of some top of the line more reliable hd.
@tabletka666 Since when did they head up to mutch o.o i have one in this pc with no airflow across it, 7200 rpm, constant read write, sits around 30c at all times... there not shit, there reliable :D

Why did you burn the regular hard drive? That's an environmental and health hazard.
