blizzard fixes shit and has great customer service. the game may be more "cartoony", but Mythic let warhammer online die...its been 2 years and its buggy as hell, has shit for "expansions", and its customer service is nonexistant. hands down, i would rather play a smooth game with great service over a choppy buggy pile of english shit.
@dorgrim don't know how long ago you played war its not as buggy as your saying. Now compared to when it first came out, its almost bug free. When it first came out it was buggy in graphics, skills, traveling, you name it. Now a days its more like inventory will stack on itself and you have to move stuff around to find some stuff, but that's it. Any other bugs you really never see. And customer service isn't as great as wow. Know why? Well its a no brainer. More employes and longer history

Mainly kids with dirty mouths and spamming about subjects they have never done yet. When a game needs "epic exp packs", then that means it pretty much has gotten boring and is afraid of losing money.
You have to see WoW as it were when it first came out, it was just as glitchy and buggy as WAR was in the start. But now after a good while ALOT of the buggs are gone. But I some times still fall under the ground. :)
And btw played WoW form the start till year ago. And I started to play WAR 3 weeks ago. I like PvP more and WAR stands out so much more when it comes to PvP. And the PQs are really nice. Dont have to get a group for exacly everything really.
@coles11q not really if you notice every class has a counterpart on the other side that play pretty much the same like the engineer is the same as magus so there's only 12 classes. Not saying WoW is better just pointing out that your over hyping warhammers classes

Everquest and Dark age of Camelot , came before both of these 2 as well. I still play Dark age, been 8 years now. All are fun games, and as for rvr, Dark age , in my humble opinion is still the best in the gaming world. :) nice review Simon.
As DamageZombie says both MMORPG's (WoW and WAR) take lore and gameplay and such things an concepts from OTHER MMORPG's from the past, and polish it up and make it better and more suitable for players. They change it alot and make it much better to fit as lore and concepts in each game. Both games are great games. WAR and WoW. WoW has better PvE while WAR has better PvP balance. To be honest, or so I am told.

There is a DND MMORPG. it is called Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach. It is not based in Neverwinter, but instead it is Ebberon, a newer setting.
It has issues though. very few quests, meaning you must redo multiple quests to level, anemic team PvP (got tavern brawls which are free-for-alls which are better), advantageous glitches (when you are being hit and your sp bar is refilling, that is a glitch), and an anemic explanation on creating your character.
"wow is very cartoony" well yeah its meant for 9year old kids who wanna roll a overpowered rogue and gank peaople its a game for mentaly disturbed fags to escape reality and make a female blood elf and think they have a girlfriend. WOW sucks!

I dont know, I got WAR only about a month ago, they said they fixed it. order is still underpopulated on every server, and also the quest just seem really boring, there like less interesting grinds, now that its all realistic, u cant get gear from creatures, all u get is fur. I DONT WANT FUR. RvR is just boring to me cuz its not a challenge of supperior players. I dont like it, but when that 40k mmo comes out, good by wow, hello Eldar scout(sniper)

in all honesty, You're not a high enough level in WoW or WAR to judge them both accurately.
I have a level 80 in WoW, and I'm just trying WAR. So far its been different, but pleasantly different. I'm not about to judge WAR, but I'm very sceptical.

There is a DND MMORPG. it is called Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach. It is not based in Neverwinter, but instead it is Ebberon, a newer setting.
It has issues though. very few quests, meaning you must redo multiple quests to level, anemic team PvP (got tavern brawls which are free-for-alls which are better), advantageous glitches (when you are being hit and your sp bar is refilling, that is a glitch), and an anemic explanation on creating your character.
