  • yesss going to see them tonight for the 6th time!!

  • Scotty is playing at the Meadow's Casino Fri nite!!!! Can't WAIT!!!!

  • i love the clarks..... even if when i lived in PA i lived in phillie..... still love em'

  • ...there's a reason they never became anything. You can't write 2 or 3 good songs over a 25 year period and expect to get noticed.

  • @brycmann Perhaps the problem is that you don't know what "good" is. That's obviously the case

  • @brycmann Sure you can. To prove my point, some people/bands who got big of just ONE song: Semisonic-closing time, Cracker-Low, The Verve-Bittersweet Symphony, Wall of Voodoo-mexican radio, Soft Cell- Tainted love, the list goes on. Lolol but thanks for your brilliant insight...

  • @brycmann Dude, you are so wrong, it's not worth debating the point with you. They toured the country. They played the NYC scene and the LA scene. They are happy with who they are. They make a nice living, one that you can only wish you made, Don't hate, Rise above it!

  • @brycmann Dude, some bands get the breajs that take them to the big time, some don't. In the right place at the right time, these guys are Nirvanna, Guns n Roses or any number of bands. I know Duff's brother and I have met Duff. I turned him on to the Clarks. He is a big fan. He says they should be a big time rock band. He doesn't know why they aren't.

  • @brycmann 2 or 3 good songs?!?!?!?! Open ur fuckin ears and maybe actually listen to the whole album and not just what the radio plays, cause if you're stupid enough to believe that the radio plays all the "hits", then ur dumber than the janitor that cleans the shit out of their toilets. And thats even giving you too much credit!

  • I'm from Germany and I'm Maybe the only one in Germany who know the clarks, but i think this band is amazing, the best i ever heard (after bruce springsteen). i love their music and i hope the clarks come one day to europe! Than europe has deserved god music also. but i think the american sound and music is much better than the german sound. i heard only american music. and the clarks at most

  • The Clarks ARE Pittsburgh's Anthem.

  • Love this song, Thank you CLARKS!!

  • i really dont see why they arent more popular than they already are. I love their music, and when i saw them everything was absolutely perfect. A hell of a lot better than most stuff played on the radio today

  • great band and great people, I live next too Scott know, and he taught me a lot about his music. He is awesome, and great music is great live too.

  • @duhwinningism 1 person is lame and cant get any thumbs up.

  • I dnt noe wht 2 say bout this musik

  • I love this band..... and their from Pittsburgh, which makes them 100 times better in my opinion

  • Arent they Actually from South Connellsville in fayette county?

  • @drewbrax1 the lead singer, Scott Blasey, is the only one who grew up in Connellsville. He lived across the street from me. His parents still do. The nicest people ever, and Scott is too.

  • @emmatampa. Stay in Tampa. that place sucks.

  • pittsburgh born and raised!!!!

  • Dont give a fuck about where a band is from. Just like good music. Nuff said. Dont like my comment? I dont care.

  • @lBStrokin

It's not that they care about where the music comes from, but they are proud of their city and the music that comes from it.

    Nuthin wrong with that.

  • Love these Pittsburgh Boys!!!!

  • PITTSBURGH-APPLE PIE-AND THE CLARKS!!!!!!!!!

  • MY HOMETOWN BAND! FUCK YEAH!

  • @A7XJohnnydude yep me too!!

  • I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<3

  • Jesus, this song is just kind of OK but man, they just nail it live.

  • MY FAVORITE SONG!!!!!

  • this song is awesome!!!

  • what a great song

  • 4 people were born to early

  • How in the name of all things holy are these guys not HUGE nationwide? Saw them in 95 in NC and been a big fan ever since...they put 90 percent of today's bands to shame with great music and very very clever songwriting.

  • I cannot believe that the rest of the country has not embraced them, especially after appearing on Letterman. But why didn't they sing one of their big hits on the show?

  • @johnnykov

Because Letterman specifically wanted them to play Hell On Wheels

  • @johnnykov I love this band too but there are hundreds of very good bands that never had more than a hit or two or never made it outside their region, etc. etc. I choose to look at it as though I know about a rare jewel very few others ever heard of...

  • Im glad I live in South Connellsville where the lead singer was born

  • @gzero4 My ex-boyfriend grew up beside him :)

  • THE DECADE

  • how in the hell are these guys not HUGE? The best band that nobody outside of Western PA has heard of. Saw in Atlantic Beach NC about 10 years ago and was blown away then

  • @mbpwrites - No shit. I saw these guys a dozen times, in small clubs around Pittsburgh and for the life of me I cannot fucking understand why they are not HUGE. I don't get it.

  • Me and my dad just can't figure out why these guys are not world wide

  • Me and my dad

  • @ricksamuell

    Yeah!! they are awesome live..

  • These guys should be super stars...

  • I lived in the Pittsburgh area for fifteen years. I don't miss it much. But I do miss these guys. I've seen The Clarks maybe dozen times. From small places like Blondie's (161 seats) to the IC Lite Amphitheater, and they were always great. Always

At Blondie's I used to sit so close my empty beer bottles were lines up at the base of the stage...

  • Blondie's in boyers?

  • My uncle works backstage for the band so I get to go backstage for all the concerts and hang out with them

  • God i love them, going to see them in Altoona next week!

  • me too

  • Just saw them at Rib-fest on Friday.. AMAZING makes Pittsburgh an even better place to live!

  • If you were proud about where you were from then you'd be proud when one of your own makes it big..."

  • "Nobody cares"

Really? Obviously THEY care, so I guess that proves you wrong. And since when do you speak for everyone else? I don't recall you being appointed to be anyone's mouthpiece ......except your own.

Why does it bother you enough to makes such a comment unless you're jealous or something?

  • I dont care where a good band is from, as long as they sound great. You people make too big a deal about them being from your home town. Nobody cares.

  • I care

  • i live n pittsburgh and they do make pittsburgh proud!

  • dang they make PA proud <3

  • there gonna be at the washington co. fair on sat. aug. 15 09

  • i was there!!!! <333

  • mee too

  • I was gonna go see these guys play in Johnstown, PA, but it was too late to get tickets.

  • i cared about hockey 2 years ago im one of the hardcores that have watched all the games and rooted for the pens since i was old enough to care. i was still a massive pens fan even for the 6 or 7 years that they were the worst team in hockey. i can still remember when they were trading guys like jagr for kris beech and alexei kovalev for rico fata and mikael samuelsson

  • man clarks are awseme theyre from my hometown johnstown. ROCK ON CLARKS

  • The Clarks are from all different towns in Western PA. (Mercer to Connellsville). They met at IUP and formed the band there. They now call Pittsburgh their home base.

  • These guys are amazing....

  • i saw them live a few weeks ago and they were AMAZING! i can't wait to see them again... this song is probably my favorite of theirs

  • I must say The Clarks are one my favorite bands and this is such a great song. Stuff like this makes me so glad I moved back home to northern WV so I can chill in Pittsburgh whenerver the notion strikes me.

  • I think we can all agree s.w. pa (pittsburgh area) is great we have everything needed steelers clarks , but the winter time sux ass

  • agreed

  • hockey

  • You mean no one in OUR narrow minded and little world cared.

Thousands of us who had season tickets since 1967, those who filled the seats, those who attended highschool hockey games, and went to 5-6 am practices sure seemed to care a LOT.

Don't generalize an entire area based only on your small circle of friends.

  • um ok

  • superbowl, stanley cup, and the clarks...

    best city ever

  • dont forget about anti-flag and the bloodhound gang

  • @AmanteDellaMusica93 and then the Pirates lol

  • scott blasey is from connellsville!!

the clarks are awesome! best band around!

  • The Clarks are an amazing group and they should be expanding their horizons beyond the Pittsburgh market. I'm in Cincinnati and just found out about them from the Powerpopoverdose blog. Guys, come to Cincinnati! We've got three casinos needing acts, six major venues in the metro area, clubs all over the area! You're welcome here too! Please, take Ohio by storm! (and not just Youngstown)

  • i was there(:

thats right they are from my hometown

    dunbar, pennsylvania<3

    i love my boys!

  • except not lol

dunbar is like 45 minutes away from pittsburgh

  • well scott blasey is from connellsville so that might be what she meant

  • that would make more sense

  • Isn't Dunbar a great town!!

  • @sarahxannexgraft Are you sure they're from Dunbar? I seriously doubt their from Dunbar down by Connellsvile. It says they're from Pittsburgh on biography. Dunbar is still a distance away from Pittsburgh. How I know this and these places is because I'm from western Pennsylvania as well. I live in Indiana County which is a farther distance from Pittsburgh then Dunbar has but still. Oh ya awesome video. They were awesome live at the private rosebud mining Christmas party a few years ago :)

  • @4T5Scott they are from uniontown fayette county!!
