Un-freaking-believable. WB pitching a fit over a 42 year old cartoon. As if this is costing THEM money. This is why we need copyright reform now. Meanwhile, WB is going to sit on this 42 year old cartoon that they are likely making little or no money off of, but they're going to deny the rest of us the right to bring it out of obscurity. To make matters worse, they sic their corporate lawyers on YouTube to bully you into capitulation.

I'd kinda agree, I mean studios have this stuff just setting around. Stop waiting on your stocks or your cash to get low and then send it out as a last resort hoping that people who used to watch the show are still interested, and get it out while people are clamoring for it and "copy right infringing"upon it whihc makes no sense unless some people have to pay for youtube while others don't.

WB makes enough money as it is. We can't download these clips for our own personal enjoyment so how's is this copyright infringement? If anything the company is getting help promoting their products. I won't buy anything from Viacom or WB ever...thanks Nick for the uploads.

This whole thing is small minded. If WB hasn't released the cartoons on DVD, they could have used a fan like Orenady to create buzz. They could have monitored his site, guaged the interest levels, and when the time was right, posted a video response themselves and said, "Hey everybody. Thanks to all the interest Orenady created we're finally releasing Street Shark on DVD. Visit us at our website to buy one. Orenady of course will get his for free." But they don't.

And as much of a bummer as it may be, you chose the smartest option. Youtube and the various studios and music companies will eventually iron out the details so that perhaps the stuff you posted can return to the web. But speaking as someone who's worked in music licensing, let me assure you the world of copyright clearance is a complicated, tedious world of paperwork. So it might not happen as soon as people would like.

I didn't know Warner Bro's even owned Street Sharks! Bring it back! Youtube is a site where people can, and should have the right to, watch rare-hard-to-find TV shows, because some companys can't be F***ing bothered to release it, in any other form! I spent YEARS searching for Street Shark vids-never found any. Sites like this are my only other option. Who cares about copyright, if it removes our right to watch other-wise hard-to-find cartoon's?

I see nothing wrong with what the man was doing, considering that...

A. He makes no profit off of it

B. The orignal company that owned the shows no longer make a profit off of it. If they released them onto DVD collections or something, that would be totally different, but they don't, they just let the old cartoons rot in some dark storage room.

Warner Brothers did not produce the Frankstein Jr. series nor did they produce Ghostbusters,so they need to fuck off.Besides Ghostbusters and Frankstein Jr are not on DVD .
