1. Crappy buoyancy vests with no tie between the legs, so it rides up and interferes with swimming, etc.

2. No rope ladder/cargo net ready on ship's deck with a deployment rope that can be easily reached.

3. No lines within easy reach on ship's deck to tether dinghy close.

4. Did they ask the islanders for equipment or assistance?

5. No proper metal ladder permanently affixed off the stern (swings down on hinges when a rope is pulled.)

6. A yacht this big could have carried a swim platform.
