A drag queen is a man pretending to be a woman with makeup and costumes, so I will never be that. I'm just doing the same thing other female entertainers do... Bette Midler, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Madonna - every popular female entertainer wears tons of makeup, wigs and costumes for stage shows. "Drag" is a gendered label, whereas what I do is just plain "entertainment".

Have you never seen a stagewproduction ? It's stage makeup katlitter. The basis of stage makeup is to be intense enough to be seen from the back of the room and everyone on stage from Baryshnikov to the cast of Wicked has to wear it. In person , no makeup Callie is flat out f'n gorgeous .
