  • 8:30 "i think this will do..... adds another 4 handfuls"

  • Daaaaaamn she has a nice kitchen.

  • whats the diffrence between sugar ad grandulated sugar?

  • @aaronbehere1 there are a lot of different kinds of sugar out there.... but the sugar that is usually used in the kitchen is granulated sugar, also known as table sugar. :)

  • wat if u use chocolate chips instead of unsweetened chocolate

  • @indianmoviesrockzk then the brownies would be too sweet. Or you'd have to reduce the amount of sugar.

  • Yum!!!

    ginaluvsyu

  • cakey, not kinky, like when you add 3 eggs instead of 2 in mix brownies

  • did she say "some that are kinky" at :20?

  • haha no she said "cakey"

  • 5:48 :O

  • What if you cannot get all-purpose flour? do you add baking powder and soda as well?

  • Laynep, that was a good question about whether or not to add a leavening agent, but virtually every supermarket carries all-purpose flour. What occasionally gives me trouble is when I want to bake a cake, and the recipe calls for cake flour. That is somewhat more difficult to get, but usually not a problem.

  • I cannot get all-purpose flour because I live in Germany, it is not sold here, every other flour imaginable I can find, but all-purpose I cannot.

  • Wow! It sounds like things are very different in Germany. I apologize for the comment. I assumed that every supermarket carried all-purpose flour.

  • nothing to be sorry about, i have found out that we have a type of all-purpose flour here but it is called something different.

  • All purpose flour is just plain flour, that's just what americans call it.

  • das ist doch das ganz normale Weizenmehl, was jede übliche Haushaltsküche hat oder nicht?

  • nein, hab herausgefunden dass es type 550 mehl ist...

  • I'm gonna try to bake this tomorrow morning : D but instead of unsweetened chocolate i'm gonna use bitter chocolate and just a little sugar, let's see how turns out!

Thank you for the wonderful recipe!

  • thankyou so much , the brownies turned out great!

  • i have the same mixer

  • I'm gonna try to make it)

  • Yummy.. as always very well presentend. Thanks Dyann.

  • how do you make them chewy though?

  • add aLOT of golden syrup

  • LOL!!! A whisky thingy! You're so funny...Yes, you certainly can use a whisk if you do not have an electric mixer. Let me know how you do, okay?

  • @DyannBakes lol ok this will sound funny but, how do you make those kind of brownies where the taste of fudgy type comes in between the brownies? like normal looking brownies but inbetween them there is a different taste do they put something else inside also? to make the taste so much fudgy type tastier!

  • u are a great baker

  • you wont need any luck! Follow the recipe and have fun!

  • Lovely...my mother makes brownies, and I can tell you, there's nothing like homemade brownies. Yet again, good job on your videos. You have nice presence in front of the camera. ^-^

  • Thank you for your kind words, and you're right...nothing else like homemade!!

  • Oh my God! Dyann, on your recommendation my boyfriend got me Mrs Fields for my birthday, it is such a wonderful book! I am going to get so fat ^^

  • LOL!!! Isn't it a great book!?!? Here's my trick. Whenever I bake, I taste what I have made (especially if it is the first time I am making it) & then I give it away. My neighbors love me! :)

  • every time i make brownies they come out flat and sometimes black around the edges

  • hmmmm....did you use a pan larger than recommended? That's the only thing I can think of that might make them flat and brown around the edges. Let me know...

  • Ahh! I love your Le Creuset pot! The spout on it is so adorable! :)

This recipe looks amazing though...I'll definitely try it sometime!

  • i already have some experiments on this brownies. but i wonder why the brownies bottom become so wet? i set for 45 minutes on the oven. Thank you.

  • im only 12 and im baking im looking for recipes i noe where to buy lolz. i made brownies once and misread the ingredients. i accidently put 1 cup of oil instead of 1/2

  • thank you for sharing! im gonna try this!

  • my pleasure

  • i loved the recipie! i bet it'll be chewy!!

  • winniepillow: granulated sugar

  • i'm sorry, but i can't really hear what type of sugar it was...

  • Thank you sooo much for sharing!!! I can not wait to try this!! I am so glad I found this. All other videos that have brownies use pre

made flour. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!!

  • Happy to help. Enjoy!

  • I was wondering how can I put some caramel in my brownies?, i just want a layer of caramel in the middle but I don't really know how to do it.

I try to cut the brownies, then spread caramel but it just got to messy.

  • Comment removed

  • lol...happy to help!

  • ...i couldnt cut them into pieces..i followed the recipe exactly except the part where the vanilla extract is to be added..i remembered that part only past 25mts of baking..i had a wonderful idea of sprinkling the vanilla extract over the brownie as it was baking..the oven started steaming and i opened the oven door every 5-7 mts to let the steam out properly...could it be because of the wrong timing/way of adding the vanilla ??

  • im planning to bake them again after a week or two to perfect them because i have a feeling that if this recipe turns out well it would be the best ever

P.S.the batter tasted yum and thankfully i didnt get the smell from the eggs..brownies that r still in my frige and altho shapeless and gooey they taste fine

  • hi dyann the last time i made brownies(the first time)it turned out to be a fiasco(too chewy like cookies are supposed to be)..btw im from india and have never tasted real brownies...yours sound really yum im going to give it a shot very soon i was wondering if i should cut down on the number of eggs to like 2 because im not too fond of the smell..will that make my brownies any less fudgey(by the way i dont know what fudgy means..its only conceptual as far as im concerned..lol)

  • ask someone else to add the eggs to the bowl, because you need them all. Fudgey is thick and moist and somewhat "heavy". Not light and fluffy. Let me know how you do, okay?

  • thanks for the instant response dyann..you look fab in the video..i guess i have to add all the eggs myself..ill definitely let u know how they turn out

  • I feel so bad that you don't like the smell of eggs...just have someone else crack them into the bowl for you! Definitely let me know!

you're going to really like them. Good old Mrs Fields!

  • hi dyann i did bake them along with choc chip cookies for his birthday(today)..i took the tray out of the oven after 45 mts when the toothpick didnt come out clean but didnt look like it was dipped in batter..a crust did appear on the top..so far so good..i let it cool and as i attempted cutting, the insides happened to be runny

  • Hi Dyann, I have a Kitchen Aid hand mixer but not a freestanding one. Do you have any tips for making whipped eggs by hand or hand mixer, without a freestanding mixer and paddle attachment? Thank you! :)

  • If you have the hand mixer, use that, but just be careful not to mix to much. You could mix it by hand with a spoon as well. It will just take a bit more time. No worries!

  • I LOVE YOUR VIDEOSS,

i just dont know which one to make :P

  • Then make them all! :)

  • hi!

    this is an amazing vid!

    thx for posting!

i'm gonna try to make these

  • Hope you do! They are quite easy and yummy!

  • Would you ever consider making fondant?

  • Yes! It is on the list of things to make. Thanks for suggesting

  • Haha! I one used unsweetened chocolate by accident instead of bittersweet. Uh yeah, it was bad. You can only learn from your mistakes.

  • Yup! You only make that mistake once, and never do it again! YUK!
