that is the kc-10, the vc-10 is an RAF tanker with 2 engines either side of the tail.

@allibowthepilot It's definately KC-10, the VC-10 was a totally different aircraft used by the RAF (converted from an airliner) and had four engines at the rear, the KC-10 depicted here is the USAF tanker version of the DC-10. Two very different aircraft!

That sound is something I can't figure out either. I think that Fraps does not record the sound accurately when it comes to some sounds.

i fly piper arrows and the level of realisticness heavily depends on the model you are flying, for instance, the arrow i have for FSX handles nothing like the real thing which makes it more unrealistic
