What an idiot! Voter fraud is rare. The real threat is election fraud by Republicans with methods such as caging, purging, hackable electronic machines that flip votes, fake flyers telling Dems to vote on Wed, fewer machines in poorer areas, etc. Read Greg Palast or Mark Crispin Miller. McCain is referring to registration fraud, not voter fraud. No one has brought any evidence of widespread voter fraud by either camp. So his comments that 'voter fraud might make him lose Florida' is alarmist BS. He's trying to create a controversy that doesn't exist. A kid making up names to get paid is not 'voter fraud'.

You may be debating a different argument than is being presented for us in this video. There is no widspread voter fraud from either campaign. There is registration fraud, otherwise known as 'getting paid for money you didn't earn'. It has nothing to do with the actual presidential race.

This has nothing to do with voter fraud There has never been a single reported instance in which bogus registration forms have led to anyone voting improperly. To do that, they would have to show up at the polls, prove their identity as all first-time registrants must, and risk jail. The people who turned in these forms did so not because they wanted an extra vote, but because they didnt care enough to make sure eligible people got to vote at all.

That election was close enough that it would actually matter. Even if McCain won all the swing states, he'd still come up short of the 270 electoral votes. He's just spouting out this garbage now so he has something to blame for the loss later.
