  • matt flynn is the best drummer.

  • i like this version

  • Ryan is a beast of a drummer,it sucks he's doing nothing but backing vocals.

  • they are what they are...it works

  • I love how it said creditõs. xD

  • lol... reading all this shit is funny... so im gonna seal the deal and call them them Modern Swing... ha for real though, they are a rock band... electric guitars, drums, but they def have a swing kinda vibe... peace.... end of story

  • Wow People. Relax. I still stand by my opinion that Maroon 5 has a blues vibe to many of their songs. Just as they have a very soulful vibe, a funk vibe, a jazz vibe:) My point was that they are a band that can not be boxed into one genre. Regardless, I think they are the best band out there:)

  • Wow this Song sounds sick live ^_^

  • God this made me miss Ryan so much <3 I love Matt Flynn though..So hot when he plays the drums xD

  • that beginning drum solo is SEXY!!

  • am i hearing right?! terrible autotune goin on there..

  • maroon 5 doesn't autotune and certainly not at their !@#$ing concerts.

  • anyone can hear what the keyboardist are doing??

i'm playing in a band and we play this song..but i cannot recognize what the keybord. plays!!

  • @davideferrara I actually can.... have no Idea what ur talking about.... it sound like its on grand piano setting

  • on 2.06, during the bridge, is a normal grand piano, but during the rest of the song there's a different sound

  • ace performance

  • hahaha the cover i did of this sounds exactly like this!! this is where we got the harmony!!!! *puts hand on forehead*

  • Ryan was a better drummer then Matt.

  • i think thats ryan in the back singing the high pitched bit durin the chorus! at 1.34

  • ya, he's in the This Love video from this concert too... he did tons of vocals when he was with them, somethin you would have thought they would have thought about when replacing him lol

  • i dont think they had much of a choice.. well he's still in the band just not on stage :) i guess the record label and shiz were on their backs to move on too

  • yes i agree with that but Ryan was always injured his hand!!!!

  • Wow!! Ryan Dusick came!!!

  • who is the guy sitting down singing the high pitched parts during the chorus?

  • That's Ryan Dusick that was the drummer!

  • if anything, i'd actually consider them like a funk band

  • @BurnBurnForJack Not funk, no way..

  • Probably the greatest band on earth, in my opinion. This is the song that started it all. It's awesome!

  • exagerated..

  • lol

  • matt flynn drum legend

  • @mreliassimpson i totally agree although i miss ryan

  • @MsFan7x7 Ryan was good, but matty is better live, more fun to watch with his hair and pout...(No Homo)

  • I really think he is at his best when his pitch is high, and The Sun, in my books is their best song to date, (but I love them all).

  • best intro EVERRR lol

  • SecondsFromEternity sure is a nerd.

  • no, but you make yourself look like an ass.

  • love the intro !!!!!

  • sas GAMAW RE POUSTRES

  • shut the fuck up cunts

  • ryan really sounds funny :D

  • ryan really sounds cool :D

  • dude dont be such a douche...you cant compare them coz they're not the same genre...idiot, you cant compare songs like this to songs like dig or determined, be more respectful to all genres next time.. maroon 5 is obviously fusion rnb/rock/funk. whilst mudvane and shit is completly different. this is coming from a fan of both maroon 5 and mudvayne.

  • retard, different types of music

  • i don't know how smart/retarded you are when it comes to music, but bands that subscribe to the emo thing are bands like the lost prophets, panic! at the disco, and hawthorne heights- not maroon 5. they are pop. while i am at it, godsmack and disturbed are not in the same category as mudvayne. i love all three of those bands, but their singers cannot sing. In this video, adam stays spot on the whole time.

  • you said, the singers of both godsmack and disturbed aren't good singers?! am i right?!

you must be someone without any knowledge about music, in any way.

  • if you took sully and david to berkeley music college and asked the professors to evaluate them, they would say that they have pitch problems which are a result of an inability to tilt the thyroid gland and contract the pharyngeal gland. The tone would also be richer in the higher registers if they were able to obtain better abduction of the vocal cords. Their technique is horrible. That is why their voice is gone towards the end of the tour. cont in next comment

  • what would thos berkely people say Rob Thomas' singing is like in his live this is how a heart breaks in the today show?

  • what is awesome about Rob is he can smoke (which burns away the lining of the cords not allowing them to seal as affectively) and still have almost flawless breath control- because he has very little tension. He has canceled out the "pinch" on his larynx from the muscles under his jaw. He has been trained by the best (Jan Smith), and years of hard work have given him almost flawless technique. Instructors might slam his style, but not his technique. Please watch my 3DG vocal cover

  • Sully and David are good frontmen because they have the personality and harder music doesn't require perfect technique or a great voice. The fact remains though that their pitch problems would make a vocal teacher weep blood and their raised larynx and throat tension pinches their tone and eventually inflames their vocal cords- this is why they do not sound as good at the end of their set.

  • Maroon 5 is soooo not pop. Why do people think that? If anything, they are a blues band, or rock. Pop is Britney Spears, not Maroon 5...

They have some songs that have a pop vibe, but as a band, they can not be boxed into pop.

  • @julieannlevine Who cares what they call it as long as it's good right?

  • @julieannlevine A blues band?! COME ON!

  • @boffe19 If you know all of maroon 5's song, you would be aware that they have a blues vibe to many of their songs. But... as I said, they are not a band that can be boxed in to any one genre:)

  • @julieannlevine

Every band has a blues vibe. Blues is the roots.

But to call Maroon 5 a blues band is just silly:)

I don't know all M5 songs, thank god, but a blues band... Naaa... Pop/rock maybe.

  • @julieannlevine listen to this band, then listen to stevie ray vaughan and try to tell me they're blues

  • @julieannlevine they definenlty are not blues. not at fucking all. rock maybe but they're still amazing

  • @julieannlevine

    maroon 5 blues rock? ahahahaha.

  • @julieannlevine well this is isnt pop... this is kinda rnb/funky rock. but theyre later stuff is less heavy on the funky bass line, hard deep drums, and the wah wah sounds of the guitar... its more synthy...

  • @julieannlevine theyre definitely a rock band, but maroon 5 are a pretty popular group, and considering 'pop' is short for 'popular', id say maroon 5 could fall under pop as well

  • those bands suck too

  • you suck tho

  • imagine if adam had a piercing in his ears

  • Hawt and sexy for reeal!

  • Watch out when he sings "The Sun".

  • HA!! ryan sounds really funny!!!

  • i love this song <3

  • haha.. you see ryan (old drummer) singing backgrounds on the side of the stage?

  • damn hes hot!!!!!

  • Wow..
