@RainydaysXD I disagree. The standardized perception of beauty is very westernized. Even white people want to be more "white", that is to say bleached hair, big eyes, ect. What about asian people who naturally have no eyelid crease who get plastic surgery to create the eyelid line? Is that not from the idealized western woman? That being said, I believe that beauty radiates from the inside out and I think all women are beautiful just the way they are.

Many Asian have natural double eyelids too, big eyes is always a sign of beauty, even in the western world, so it is totally understandable if they want to have bigger eyes,it doesn't mean they want to look white.

@RainydaysXD Take a look at the magazines, tv shows, movies, commercials. People are exposed to a certain perception of beauty everyday through the media. Though we may not admit it, it is definitely integrated into our subconscious that is the pinnacle of beauty that we strive for. I'm not saying white people are more beautiful, no where did I say or imply that. I'm saying that is what the media causes us to believe and we are all exposed to that.
