They really could've improved the movie if they made the cliff on the other side of the Rex paddock instead of just making it appear out of thin air. Other than that this movie blows the doors off Titanic, Star Wars, Batman, Spiderman, Fast and Furious and every other movie thats ever been made. Even better than Predator and Aliens! This story still has the best combation of science. Cloning is always a cautionary tale, and so is Control. Theres apart of you that wants to see the park work, and as a kid I use to watch it over and over to see if the outcome would change.

You know if Jurassic Park was created today. All the dinosaurs in every shot would be CGI. One of the reasons I love this movie is because it has more animatronic dinosaurs than CGI dinosaurs. It's better to have something that's real than something that's not there. Stan Winston did a brilliant job and may he rest in peace. This is why JP is my favorite film of all time.

@NickLarsen20 that's 'cause they used a combination of models and CGI to create a realistic effect. I think filmmakers today got lazy and rely too much on computers. The werewolves in TWILIGHT movies were obviously solely CGI and unrealistic looking. I remember thinking, why were the dinos in JURASSIC PARK, a movie nearly two decades old, more realistic than these wolves?

@livelaughlovek21 Probably because Spielberg directed the first two and promised the other guy if there was a 3rd, Spiel would let him direct it. The 3rd did seem pretty predictable, but I do give credit to those guys because theres not very many ideas left. They already shown the maps, its not like they can go 'Poof' "hey theres another island" lol. But the 3rd does open doors for others because the idiots let the birds out and now all of a sudden the world is going to be filled with dinos :P

Yeah trust me, I didn't teach my animals how to open doors like that. That's one trick that just annoys the hell out of me. When I shut a door I want my animals to leave it shut. lol

And in the script, earlier on in the movie Muldoon (or however that's spelled) mentioned that the raptors were "problem solving" smart.
