  • I had the VNS pacemaker implanted 2 years ago. It's wonderful. I've been depression free. It doesn't work for everyone, but for those it does work for, it is God given lifesaver.

  • is it currently in use for the treatment of anxiety?

  • to everyone considering this device do not get it is a huge lie for the maker to bring in money

  • this device is a bunch of shit i have one and im getting mine removed

  • I've got it for my epilepsy. It's not an overnight or 100% failsafe cure; it takes time. I'm better than I was, but my epilepsy hasn't "gone away". (Granted, I have rather rough neurological problems.)

If you're considering it for depression, read the literature. Apparently the VNS device was approved by the FDA for depression without getting the entire picture. Some people swear by it -- some people get absolutely no benefit from it, apparently.

TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR, READ THE LITERATURE.
