I'm a huge fan of Sponge wax it gives the hair the natural healthy look and keep the style in place all the day, tho some times you need to ad spray if you are partying wild ;-)

It depend on the style, for relaxed hair i would use forming cream or fiber. for spiky hair i would only use fiber.

Try do it in freshwashed damp hair. the advantage is that when its damp at the routs its easier to bend in the right directions.

You should go for the Crew fiber It have a matt finish and medium strong hold. Grooming cream is much more shiny and oily.

I ordered the fudge fat hed, but it turned out to be too greasy and way too weak.

Then I ordered the American crew Fiber (high hold low shine) which was much better, only still too weak. The hair collapses and doesn't stick together which will cause the hair look like a not combed piece of shit.

Can you pls advice me something like Fiber with a higher hold? I was thinking it might be better to switch to a gel (like Joico spiker) to get the strength?

@nothingbutcandy I think my answer is too late: I tried using hairspray (got2b glued) with american crew fiber, but in my opinion (got2b) hairspray sucks, because it makes all the good things of wax or something else disappear. For example you won't be able anymore to restyle it and your hair will look like if you used shiny gel...

Hi I think you should use fiber from what you describe, but the best choice would be Id extreme titanium, it can fix all kind of hair. Else the main difference in hairproduct is the amount of oil in the product, pomade is a very oily product, clay wac if connect with dust/minerals and so on.

Its two different things. Titanium have a cracy solid hold 10/10, and fiber is more like a strong natural hold 7/10

This style is growed from a short cut, ells just tell the hairdresser to cut it 2cm short at the sides and 3-4cam at the top then you are a good way to the goal.
