  • SMYRNAcowboy - My husband is currrently deployed to Iraq with the 269th MP Co, and was under 1Lt. Eric Emmert's command in his platoon. It was a devastating loss to the unit when they lost Lt. Emmert that fateful day. Thank you so much for showing your support to Lt. Emmert's service to his country, and thank you for being part of such a great organization such as the Patriot Guard. May God bless you and all that you do!

  • I was never in the military, but the sacrifice these troops made really makes me proud to be an American. It's the least I could do.

  • Wow, Looks like you guys were well represented! I was amazed at the State Troopers on bikes, have never seen one in Tennessee.

  • Yep, there out there.  This hero was a member of the THP. He was training Iraq policeman when he was killed.
