@ericheretoday When putting it away any line spool will work. There are several altenatives, our favorite is the blue line holder we carry on our site.
@ericheretoday That part of it could be "easier", but just reeling in at the end of the day. But, it is much easier to set up at the beginning of the day and start fishing within 30 seconds, no need to align rod pieces, pass line through rod guides, etc. Plus, other advantages with not using a reel, line tied to the tip of the rod instead.
This is a great video, but it sure is hard to pay attention when I'm looking for rising fish in the water -- around the 5:00 mark I think I can see risers in the lower middle and right area of the video while you're talking about snags. And I agree with the others -- it's a great song!
that was kind of a fail of a small stream tutorial or whatever this was supposed to be.

@tenkarausa wouldn't it just be easier to attach a small reel to your rod & easily reel in the extra line at the end of the day?
