  • "Let me help her with that. I suggest that they were voting against the lisbon treaty. The giveaway was the ballot paper which asked whether they wanted to approve the lisbon treaty"

    Hannon is AWESOME!

  • When it comes to referenda the Irish people are expected to vote again and again until whatever result the EU wants is achieves.

Irish politicians are nothing but a bunch of spineless boot-lickers.

  • Democracy is: The people rule.

When a majority rules a minority, it's called a dictatorship.

  • @EpicTrollingGame Strange times ....stranger allies.

  • EU IS PURE EVIL

  • @EpicTrollingGame I can't take you seriously because of your name... :P

    Enjoy your new colonialist masters.

  • EU=Pack of corrupt wankers

  • Nigel is the man

  • 4:07 DANIEL HANNAN ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLL i couldnt stop laughing after that

  • @ 1:07 Did he accept the offer ?

And where did they go ?

To the pictures or for dinner ??

  • "[Jean Monnet]...is regarded by many as a chief architect of European Unity[1] and is regarded as one of its founding fathers. *Never elected to public office*, Monnet worked behind the scenes of American and European governments as a well-connected pragmatic internationalist."

    enDOTwikipediaDOTorg/wiki/Jean_Monnet

*Very appropriate. No wonder the EUSSR is a conspiracy against the freedom of the peoples of Europe - what does such a man as that know of freedom ?

  • lol, I love the way the music changes when the "bad guys" come on.

  • the people are luciferians and Satanist , also most of these apparatchiks are sexual deviants pure evil fascist scum. sorry but they are. the ukip and freinds are fighting this evil. the fascist ellite will burn in hell their new world order will collapse christ will burn them in hell for all eternity.

  • I'm Dutch and I voted "NO" but the Dutch votes were ignored, but my conscience is clear too. And yes, the EU is undemocratic, a lie and run by powerhungry idiots. What a shameful display!!!

  • WAHAY! UP THE FUCKING IRISH!

  • I voted "No" twice, Thank God, my conscience is clear, regardless of the threats made to our little Island.

  • Ahh let's forget about all this rubbish and have sex

  • Well there is also an answer why bank's and countries in deep depth and similar interests keep telling lies to people.

  • The idea that the Commission dictates laws to us is one of the great myths in EU politics. They draft legislation - the Council/Parliament still make all of the key decisions.

If we want to complain about the EU then let's focus on who's actually to blame: governments. Merkel, Sarkozy, Cameron (etc.) are in control of the EU, not Barroso (though they'd happily let you believe otherwise as it focuses attention away from them).

  • Im Irish and I fucking hate the EU, not Europe, the EU! I really doubt that second Lisbon Treaty vote was legitimate. They ran a propoganda campaign and made people fear that we would be doomed without it... look at us now!! Nigel Farage is a hero and the only chance ALL free Europeans have. Donate on their website. Im going to because our politicians are pussies and are afraid to tell Europe to shove it. And fuck Fianna Fail while im at it!!

  • yeah and what did the irish givernment do??? they made us go back for a second vote and HASSLED AND THREATENED US until we voted yes...............and we regretted it bitterly.................. now its November 2011, and the IMF are in here sucking the life out of our beautiful country, thousands immigrating again, poverty rising, and set to get a whole lot worse..... look, anything with Germany at the heart of it..........need I say more..................are our memories so short..............

  • Sometimes I get the impression that the EU is not 100% committed to democracy.

  • @spudthrasher , the problem is the northern irish? i find it funni u southerners are all yeah were the shit , incase u forgot u got ur freedom by selling out the irish people of the north . the irish people of northern ireland r the real irish , were the ones that kept fighting terrany and oprission, and didnt sell r countrymen n women to the country it sworn to protect them from , so f u , the northern irish r the fighting irish .

  • @TheGoatboy67 shut up ya fuckin spastic, we didnt forget ye.. ye were outpopulated by the protestants what the fuck were we supposed to do??? Fuck you blind bastard

  • @TheGoatboy67 "selling out the irish people of the north". Thats rubbish. The Brits divided up all the lands of their former enemies around the same period. Ireland, Yugoslavia, Middle East, etc and they let the people inside them borders destroy each other afterwards. It didn't matter what part of Ireland they wanted, they would have gotten it anyway, North, South, East or West. It just happened to be the North.

  • @smithy2306

It didnt ''Just'' happen to be the North the North was overwhelmingly populated by Scottish/English Prodestants so the Country was divided along those lines I doubt they would off moved to South West Kerry plus geographically its the closest part of Ireland to the UK 22 miles from Antrim across the Irish sea.

  • @joesoap81 yeah I know that. My point was that they would have taken whatever area they wanted to keep and populated it with protestants.

  • @smithy2306

    True.

  • Respect for United Kingdom. The britishs members of the europeans parlement are the ONLY proudly show there flag.

  • fuc-ki-ng EU DICTATORS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Who the hell is bothered if the European Leaders had put in their efforts into this. What you mean is you the European Parliament, piled in all your propagandist tripe against the people!

I am a Brit and I admit we have made terrible mistakes.. Surely though it is time to put an end to hate.

This European Parliament is dangerous, it is Nationalist, it is Corrupt and free choice and democracy is being overpowered by those in power. This Parliament is elitist and dangerous.

  • when ever the german dude spok there was a awesome song, whats the song name?

  • the eu-komission politicians are true bastards, nobody ask the people in the other countries.

  • It's a shame that you didn't put in Avril Doyles statement. Fine Gael clearly prefer to talk about the past than what is about to happen to Ireland in the future

  • yea respect the irish vote get the fuck out of IRELAND you brits!!!!!!!!!1

  • @Musicmatttheonly1 how old are you! 12? this isnt about britians in ireland, its about our right to vote no and it was ignored by europe, go read a book or something!

  • @dirtymonkey55 read a book? go and fuck yourself son shine members of that eu board even said to the brit members within it that respect the Irish vote and well done Ireland mean fuck all to the Irish when it comes from them all they do it for is money and publicity and to get voted in the next term........... they dont actually mean it so go and fuck yourself TWAT!

  • @Musicmatttheonly1 its not "son shine" its sun shine idiot, the last vote we had from independence with the british was in the 1800s for home rule you twat, times have changed alot since then, with your reply you have just shown me what a total moron you really are! :D

  • @Musicmatttheonly1 We want to get rid of Northern Ireland believe me, the problem is the Northern Irish!

  • @spudthrasher Northern Irish don't exist and if so go to your local MPS and tell them that i want a United Ireland

  • Margot Wallstrom - Commission Vice-President? Probably wants to be president of Ireland considering her concern for the people there! Women's power also has been shaped by man's thinking in these corrupt times and so called democratic laws! I will never vote until I see a just democratic system again! It's pointless to vote! Especially, when the people's rights and freedom of voice are suppressed from Brussels! How dare any person patronize another without first looking at their own face

  • Ireland's power was stolen away hundreds of years ago! Nothing has changed in the reforming of the original seat of power to Ireland's hill! Listening to the Irish people was the ancient way of the Druids! What you may ask has this to do with the current laws of fascist, dictators governing over a country that is not their own homeland of origin? Shall the Irish take again to their horses and ride into the heart of Brussels with their flags of Non-Identity?

  • @sugarush, the joint is a home for people with the same agenda as 1936, just take another look; damn disgraceful to see the world being led this way again by the same eugenicist types.

  • Can someone make a list of all these Nazis including the bald one, we will need it soon enough.

  • That German guy is scary. I am(/was) pro-EU. I am left-wing. I am a liberal.

I am anti-British conservativism. But the British tories there were the only ones who were making sense. The German guy seems like a fanatic.

What they are doing is purely wrong. The EU is a big mess. How can they possibly expect to engender the peoples' respect when they so clearly ignore their will?

  • I'm in favour of the E.U. but this is just outrageous. I'm not pro-EU in its current form, I'm pro-EU when it plays by its own rules. I do think we need a strong EU state - but not one which simply ignores its members.

  • Please don't put music anymore, it's silly

  • Herr Schultz, your statements at 7:10 and 9:00 reek of obsession and insanity. This is EU-nationalism in its purest. Who do you think you are, despising the peoples of Europe in such a way, claiming you and the aristrocratic political elite know what's best for us? Haben Sie denn nichts aus unserer Geschichte gelernt? Da bekommt man wirklich Angst. And this is from someone who is educated and highly intelligent, not a populist peasant as you might see us, the people.

  • Go Nigel

  • I'm just a dumb-ass American but I know enough not to piss off the Irish. "No" means a bomb under your car if you steal from them.

  • The EU is undemocratic. The EU is a lie. The people of Europe do not want to be dictated to by a bunch of power-mad, unelected civil servants. We want our soveringty back, we want the freedom to decide our own laws and not to be wrapped up in endless buracracy. I love Europe but I hate the EU. RIP EU.

Love to the people of Europe from Ireland. We must never stop fighting for our freedom. Dismantle this unnatural Super fasict state, starting NOW.

  • @irishbankslave The trouble with local democracy is that you might have to travel to ireland to get a drink .or you may want an abortion?

  • @irishbankslave In which country civil servants are elected? Among the EU institutions it is the European Parliament which has the real power, and MEPs are elected by the people.

  • @irishbankslave '

It's really funny that it was suggested at around the 9:00 mark that there needs to be dictation by the EU in order to stop fascism. Fascists argued they were needed to stop communism, but just like neither was the answer then, neither is the answer when given the choice of an undemocratic EU running everything or fascism.

  • @irishbankslave Totally agree

  • Margot Wallström makes me cry. Its a shame to be a swede like me when i see her.

  • Did the German gentleman just disregard the views of Sinn Fein ? wow

  • This is an amazing video. Well done the Irish. Well done Farage.

  • Does anyone know what the name of the song and artist for the first music in this video is? I love the drum beat. It's in the first few seconds. I know the music is listed in the description but I've looked up the names and none seem to match.

  • Quote...........................

“Public opinion will be led to adopt, without knowing it, the proposals that we dare not present to them directly … All the earlier proposals will be in the new text, but will be hidden and disguised in some way.”

    — - Knights of Malta Member Valerie Giscard D’Estaing, who helped to draw up the EU Constitution which the French and Dutch rejected in their 2005 referendums and which is now being implemented through the Lisbon Treaty (Le Monde, 14 June 2007)

  • Quote from baruso's leed holder

“Europes nations should be guided towards the superstate without their people understanding what is happening. This can be accomplished by successive steps, each disguised as having an economic purpose, but which will irreversibly lead to federation.” — Jean Monnet, Chief architect of European Unity, 30 April 1952 - ref

  • @dawnscent Better a super state then a stupid state.

  • 47 undemocratic people dont like this video

  • go to hell europe hope its destroyed by a debt crisis forever

  • I'm so incredibly happy that Farage is in that damned place, defending the last bits of freedom we have. He's fighting a losing battle, but at least he's fighting.

  • there's that bold headed , fat little hitler Martin Schulz !!!!!

  • @PEABALLS He must have links to the far right.

  • @jrobertsoneff "He must have links to the far right." Yes indeed, either that or the far-left , not much between the two, at least you know where you stand with the far-right.

  • @PEABALLS At least you know ehere you are with the far right . Yea usually up against the wall. At least the far left try and pretend not to be racist or nationalist.

  • @jrobertsoneff true, but i suppose it depends on the individuals views of nationalism, personally i don't see anything wrong with it , as long as its not taken to an extreme. in fact it irritates the hell out of me ,how the word "nationalism" is seen as a dirty word, like its something to be ashamed of and buried deep underground.

  • @PEABALLS Nationalism usually means banning trade unions ,cutting taxes for the rich ,and a big increase in arms spending. ( just ask farage)

  • @jrobertsoneff What is like the opposite of liberalism? which usually means - Willing to spend/give away other people's money/stuff, anything go's, rights of minorities supersedes the rights of the majority, mass uncontrolled immigrations, rights of criminals over the victim, i could go on and on, anyway your trying to convince the wrong person my friend, nothing wrong with nationalism what so ever, only a sell out (traitor) would think otherwise. i guess you think euro nationalism ok tho?

  • @PEABALLS Nothing wrong with nationalism ,thats nwhat hitler thought , id sooner be a big european then a little englander sucking up to china.

  • @jrobertsoneff well i hope to see you and people that think like you (traitors) who commit treason of the highest order, swinging on the end of a rope from tower bridge by your neck my friend, your a sell out, i see you have many war videos as favourites, however i doubt you have ever even held a gun, you portray a good game but at the first sign of the shit hitting the fan , you will be one of the first yellow bellied fools to run and cower behind the very people with the ideals you despise.

  • @jrobertsoneff no a little European you mean, it takes a little man to be a Judas towards his fellow countrymen and country, i can assure you there's nothing big about that. its the same old hair trigger response from you e.u nazis, spreading fear that nationalism leads to war, and naming Hitler half a dozen times, it so very lame and predictable, you never answered my questions so i will repeat it, euro-nationalism's is okay, yes ?

  • @PEABALLS Yes european nationalism is good ,because it will exclude all the right wing loonys who want bring back their empires ,and plunge the world into war ,and hitler is a good example.

  • @jrobertsoneff "the right wing loonys who want bring back their empires" By building another empire instead, wow you truly are a clever one sir, and a hypnotic, perhaps you should move to Brussels, you're fit right in, they like people with no fight, and a all out surrender type mentality, it makes their job easier, your generation had it good, suckling at the teat of freedom provided by the likes of my grandad, for far to long, never had to lay their life on the line ...... cont

  • @PEABALLS If you dont like europe ,go and live in asia , and see how long you last

  • @jrobertsoneff HAHA , i see someone else has picked up on your hypocrisy, and sticking the word dumb in front was a nice touch, they certainly got your number, bravo to him/her .

so i guess my work here is done, before i go , firstly not once did i say i didn't like Europe, the e.u and Europe are two different things dick boy. secondly take a last piece of advice, go out and get laid, then fade away and die quietly old man before you embarrass yourself even further.

  • @jrobertsoneff Go and get laid .You wont be able to say that when the taliban take over, nor will that allah sucks geezer, and i bet you dont call your granfather old man.

  • @jrobertsoneff ..... Dumb hypocrite !!!!!!

  • @jrobertsoneff "and a big increase in arms spending" OH YES PLEASE ! then i wouldnt have to use out of date equipment !!! wow im all for that , bring it on !!

  • @PEABALLS Dell soon find another excuse.

  • @jrobertsoneff ....that's why you're content to hand powers so easily over to undemocratic, unelected, foreign based power. At least Judas got payed , you;re do it for free. that's why i hold nothing but contempt for people like you.

  • I hope schulz get hit by a thunderbolt

  • Politics are not existing when you can't vote!!!!!!

  • Crowd of Nazis - that Schultz man is the new little hitler

  • @sonnyjimslim

I'm from germany and i didn't vote for that guy. Noone i know even heard of him. He's a giant douche and on behalf of germans everywhere, i apologize.

This is not a democracy anymore.

  • @sonnyjimslim

actually the good thing at Nazis is that they were first to expose the banking elites

  • Why do people watch hollywood movies? This gives me way more thrills and blood pressure. Im going to use it to fight those hacks! Great Clip!

  • About Martin Schulz... the population didn't agree with the Lisbon Treaty, because it wasn't even informed suficiently by the media! Was there a REFERENDUM for all countries in Europe? NO. This are legislations that are pushed through in the most possible silent way behind our backs! It has nothing to do with the population. We don't want the European Union at all maybe? International fascistic laws overriding our national laws! Maybe Berlusconi was right about him ehehhe.

  • Check Mary E Synon blog in the daily mail. she is one of the few irish that wasn't suckered by the EU and if you don''t get angry reading it you have no love for your fellow citizens.

  • @MrTeser Indeed, she's great. The peoples of Europe should never forgive the EU for the political Putsch that was the treaty of Lisbon.

  • @Spenner56 We tend to forget the German people are being shafted harder than most. It is uplifting to see someone in Germany following UKIP. The politicians will only listen too direct action through civil disobedience, lets occupy the institutions of EU power and follow the example of the the people of Northern Africa and force them in too resigning. Politics is dead when you can't vote so other means must be found. I will be the first in line when the time comes.

  • I only wish the Irish politicans had the balls of Nigel Farage. Our own politicans were almost appologetic about the no vote. (with the exception of sinn fein of course)

  • The socialist feels like a real scumbag.

  • Thanks for Ireland. I hate the EU. Its a big and powerfull pedofile ring.

  • 2.

    The French said NO,

    the Dutchmen said NO,

    the Irish said NO,

the Germans would say NO, if there had been a referendum in Germany, I am absolutely sure. There was no referendum in Germany, why??

The german politicians feared a rejection of the treaty by a referendum!

I always thought, politicans should represent the people ! If not, then who????

  • @199gSauerkraut Because in Germany it dont give a Democracy. its a illusive democracy.

  • @199gSauerkraut It stuns me how few people recognize that humans are animals. And animals are selfish. Why would anyone think for an instant that politicians and the upper class can resist all temptation to use their vast wealth and awareness against the masses?

  • a federal Europe would be much better than individual states why do the xenophobes who believe this fear a supra-state when there are so many benefits.

  • I feel bad as a swede when Margot Wallström talks

  • I love the way the music changes to an ominous tone whenever Schulz is talking.

  • NACISM lives - Herr Shultz has passion of real Nazi. It is shameful to have such undemocratic union in 21st cent. in this world.

  • They should let them fight to the death in that chamber and then let the winner choose wtf to do because what they are doing now is just fucking pointless, P.S Nigel Farage will win :D

  • Farage doesn't only fight for the United Kingdom but for all Europeans who wish to see this house devolved.

  • @NeoFalcon69I agree; but it'd be even nicer to see that house "dissolved" permanently.

  • @NeoFalcon69 Actually he fights for the whole world- this "Union" is one of the pieces soon to make up the Global government, under one Dictator, woe to us all in this time.

  • @NeoFalcon69 So why does the Union Flag appear on his desk? Lord Byron and the volunteers in the Spanish Civil War were the only Englishmen who ever fought for other people.

  • @HerrOttoKranz

Pretty simple - he's representing the fact as nation states we rightfully be allowed to rule ourselves not some unelected bunch of nuts.

Please note if you seen other footage or even visited the place - you see other people with their own flags representing their nation state.

  • @NeoFalcon69 I have been there this year as a ERASMUS Student. The MEPs are elected, by the way, although I do think democratic practices should be reinforced within the EU. Still in European elections small parties like UKIP get a chance to win seats. Did they make it to the Commons? I am no expert in British politics, but despite being Mr. Farage a skilled orator he doesn't seem to have many supporters in the UK (I mean comparable to Labour, Consevative or at least Lib-Dem).

  • I think the EU parliament right now is doing what every group in power has been doing over the centuries: justifying its presence to remain in power. Even though Europe is united to a degree acceptable by its citizens, they keep issuing laws as if the unification is not over, thus justifying its own existence. This has been done by the communists, who 80 yrs after their revolution still said the revolution is not over, by the jacobins who hunted down so called enemies of the state.

  • @ahmedeox You just enlightened me, I didn't think about it that way. They were given power for a purpace. All this power must have awakened tons ideas on how to use it. Now that the purpace is fading, they're inventing new purpaces to stay in power. The Lisbon Treaty even increased it.

  • Margot wallström is fucking disgusting, we should deport her to some obscure place

  • @2Banarne2 agree shes scary...

  • BUT YOU CAN NOT VOTE TO CANCEL A REFERENDUM OF MILLIONS OF PEOPLE How dare you to put to the vote a popular decision who the fuck you think you are

  • from Germany......God save the Queen an Mr. Nigel

  • If you're pro-EU, in its current form, you're anti-democratic. It's that simple.

  • @comenowmrbond it is that simple, I agree.

  • @comenowmrbond Point taken. I am glad you introduced some rationality with "in its current form". Because otherwise defending the idea of an European Union does not make you a nazi or a traitor to your country per se.

  • If the EU isn't destroyed in the next 5-10yrs, we're looking at WWIII. What's worse is that N. America is in the process of formalizing it's N. American Union (aka, the United States of N. America - Mexico, US & Canada) and no one is even paying attention! It's all going to hell in a handbasket. Democracy is becoming a thing of the distant past.

  • @nvieira100 americans are waking up with there tea partys and they still havent giving up there guns so there go out fighting i think, obamas called for national civilian force but its all over the news so who knows, the UK needs a general strike or needs to join ukip or do something and start protesting and standing up for this country

  • @scottishchap2008 I'm Canadian, and believe me, Americans have no idea what's just happened. As of Feb 4, Obama and the Canadian Nazi ... err Prime Minister ... signed off on the N. American Union. American and Canadian sovereignty has come to an end. This deal was kept secret from both the Canadian and American public. Now that's it's a done deal, non-maintream media and newspapers in Canada have publicized this horrendous event! However....

  • @scottishchap2008 ..in America, not one single newspaper, TV network nor Radio station has mentioned it. Not one politician has mentioned it. Americans are completely unaware unless they happen to check Obama's webpage on a regular basis!! Check this out --> h t t p : / / w w w . eutimes . net / 2011 / 02 / obama-creates-worlds-first-superstate-with-us-canada-merger /

democracy is a thing of the past. Voting is nothing but a farce ... it changes nothing.

  • @scottishchap2008 What the UK needs to / MUST do is get behind Nigel Farage and the UKIP, get out of the EU and take their nation back! Hopefully then, other European countries, like Ireland, Greece, Spain and Portugal, will follow suit. We have a Federal election in Canada this year, but the sad thing is that no one is even beginning to talk about the issues. Most Canadians are so dissolusioned and cinical about our political environment, that they have no interest and are paying no attention.

  • EU is not democratic at all, Farage is one of the few politicians to be trusted.

  • I'd like to see them fighting in the parliament

    fucking NAZI party

we won't a free Europe. not again a union which ends in a war.

  • the EU is the new NAZI party!

  • Dan Hannan at 4.03 - brilliant. What the fuck do these people think they are doing - a NO vote is a NO vote - these people deserve to be imprisoned for crimes against democracy.

  • EU and Hitler best friends since 1958.

  • Invested a lot of capital, LOL. What the feck has capital to do with the fact that democratic tools should be employed to let the people decide what they want? Take your capital and shove it!! We don't need capital to express our opinions so piss off and grow up!! Germans and French politicians are at the source of the problem. To think that I was suggested to work in amongst these morons after my LLM is worrying indeed!

  • @aniolku25 It's not even their capital - they just take it from the people at gun-point and then claim credit for spending it.

  • what a bunch of cunt's trying to force it after they got a NO what a pack of Mongrels I hope these New World Order scum get theirs! because they are for the common goal to bring about the one world government that will be far worse than any communist government before it.

  • I AM SICK OF THESE BRITISH CLOWNS!!! THEY RUIN OUR EUROPEAN INTEGRATION!!!

  • @moskiter

What European Integration are you in heaven's sake talking about ? You mean EU Bureaucratie is don't you. We are not living enough in a Neo Sovjet Union, not directed by a Polit Bureau in Moscow but a Bureau in Brussels.

I say, enough is enough, no more bureacrats, no more of what you mean.

  • @moskiter HAHAHAHAHAHA. You're funny. "European integration"... ;)

  • @moskiter idiot

  • @moskiter Are you a troll? Surely no-one could make such a moronic comment.

  • @moskiter Er. Ireland is not part of Britain. Neither is France nor Holland for that matter.

  • @moskiter where are you from. do you think its just british

  • @moskiter Zombie

  • @moskiter

How many people said no to the Lisbon treaty? How democratic is it for the leaders of the EU to say that although people have overwhelmingly voted against the treaty we will still find a way to ratify the treaty by an obscure loophole. How dare they say that their democratic rights are meaningless! This "new" European super state is dangerous. If you want European integration do democratically! The EU isn't a democracy, it is a farce.

  • If the EU project fails - if the Lisbon treaty is abandoned - all of these politicians are out of power. While there are some useful idiots who believe the hype, most of them are motivated by nothing more than their desire to cling to their position and power.

  • Non nei ne na nao nej neen jo ochi nein NO!

  • The Irish referendum was a success of leftist and antiglobalistic forces. Well, it should have been respected nevertheless. But I think European countries ar so export-oriented, that they can't abandon the internal market in fact.

  • Restore power to people , restore democracy , give them the right to speak and vote.. Stop think them as your numbers , stop stealing their rights and lifes.. Stop playing with the countries and the fake set scenes of economic crisis to slave them , stop putting really dangerous people (unelected) in dangerous posistions.. Stop lying to the people , stop deciding their future and let people decide their own.. Stop playing with fire , cause you will burn from it they say.. People are awaking....

  • Schulz ist ja ein Vollpsycho & Barroso extrem gefaehrlich fuer uns alle! Etwas Undemokratischeres wie die EU gibt's nicht! Dieses Projekt ist ein Frankenstein-Dilemma...

  • @pu33yassassin: besides, many European countries have experienced much higher economic growth and success before some stupid EU was formed. A simple free trade Europe worked much better than over-regulated, socialistic European Union controlled by a bunch of bureaucrats sitting in Brussels, having no idea what's going on outside. By trying to "unite" Europe, they've only caused economic problems and huge debts. Instead of facing masses of immigrants, we may see masses emigrating EU in future ;)

  • @pivak6Tthat's a nonsense. The EU has been founded in the fifties, which means that prior to its creation there were WARS throughout Europe. Wars and revolutions. I am not sure whether there was an "economic growth" simultaneously, but what is evident, there were bloody wars. These wars ceased to exist following the establishment of the ECSC (coal and steel) in the fifties.

  • @BaumerPaulGefreiter i think you will find the reason the wars stopped in europe was because the usa and ussr had enough nuclear weapons to wipe out the world, nothing to do with the eu, learn your history before talking rubbish

  • @MrBillyt12345 The causes of European wars (1914 - 1945) had nothing to do with the U.S. or the U.S.S.R. These causes were internal European affaires (emanating from domestic problems of each of the states involved). The western front was what really mattered.

  • @BaumerPaulGefreiter once again you show your ignorance. in 1914 austria threatened serbia with war, germany was allied with austria and russia was allied with serbia. so when austria declared war on serbia both germany and russia were pulled into the war, britain only got involved when germany invaded belgium as we have always guaranteed that countrys independence.

  • @BaumerPaulGefreiter now that i have explained how ww1 started shall we go on to ww2. in august 1939 hitler signed a non aggression pact with ussr(stalin). germany invaded poland from the west and the ussr invaded from the east as part of a secret clause in the pact. the only reason hitler could feel confident about going to war in 1939 was because he knew he was not going to be fighting a 2 front war. history lessons over for today

  • @MrBillyt12345 And the wars could stop only after these problems were mitigated.. Since the fiftees, Germany and France have no need for another war.. They have absolutely no interest in launching a new war (unlike in previous times), which is due to free trade (GATT, EU etc.). This is decisive.

  • @BaumerPaulGefreiter shows how much u know. germany has not been capable of launching a war since 1945 because of a very major reason. it is called the british, usa, french and russian armys that occupied the country after ww2. the EU has had absolutely nothing to do with keeping the peace,

  • pu33yassassin: please, don't compare USA to EU. USA is a federation built by people who spoke the same language, shared the same values and followed the same idea. EU is an artificial "union" of totally different countries, speaking different languages and having different culture.

I'm from Czech Republic, a very small eastern European country and we've faced huge immigration even before joining EU. Immigrants come just because they see a richer country then theirs, not because of some "Empire".

  • @pu33yassassin what do you mean by "loyal to Europe"? there are many europe-born citizens who give a shit about their governments and who definitively are not loyal to the bunch of idiots who run the EU.
