this is a very good drum cover. How long have you been playing? and this might be a stupid question but every drum cover I see people are wearing headphones...do you play the real song basically to block out your drumming?

No, the reason you see them wearing headphones is because the headphones are connected to a device called a Metronome. A Metronome is used to keep drummer in time with the song. To hear what a Metronome sounds like search it on here or on Google.

I use a crappy kit lol. Yamaha Rydeen with Remo Pinstripe heads, all Zildjian cymbals: 16 inch and 18 inch Custom Z (Medium) crashes, 10 inch Custom Z splash, 14 in ZXT Hi-Hats and China, 20 inch ZXT Ride, and 17 inch Custom Z (Rock) crash.
