at 1:53, is is aseptic technique to pull apart the gloves with two hands, then pinching with the thumb? I'm doing a sterile check off soon and as watching her, wondering if this is contamination?
this is a great video. you did everything the way my book explains it should be done. i looked through 3 video before finding your and they had flaws in their technique. one suggestion for future videos you do put up, which i hope you do more, would be to put audio. it's always nice to hear someone verbalize the steps you're doing. thanks for sharing the video
!!!Shouldn't you rewash/sanitize hands after testing suction on connecting tubing before touching your sterile supplies? The mouth and pharynx contain more bacteria than the trachea does, shouldn't you perform nasotracheal suctioning before oropharyngeal suctioning?
