@PulpRobot No it is not. I do not know why you would think that. You breathe it in every time you crack open a can of soda! Carbon monoxide is toxic. The dioxide doesn't do anything bad to you at all. Like helium (also nontoxic), you can suffer anoxia from breathing the pure gas, because you still need oxygen.

That cake looks yummy! Lol, the orange "lava" looks like a giant crab sitting on the top of the cake! haha, its cute!

If you want more of an eruption, use red-tinted icing instead of water. If the cup is filled full enough the icing will flow down the sides of the cake like lava. Enjoy!
