Ninjutsu was not created in China but it does involve Chinese teachings. Daisuke Nishina(Japanese Samurai) met a Chinese refugee (Kain Doshi) in Japan (Iga province). Nishina studied here with Doshi. Nishina changed his name to Daisuke Togakure and this was the birth of the Togakure Ryu.

Wrong, Ninja would use a katana but they would cut them down. Ninja did not spend a lot of time making their swords, so they were not quality blades, just a simple tool for cutting someone open or to pry open a door. If they got the chance of picking up a good katana from a dead Samurai, they would but it would still end up just being a simple tool.
actually Ninjas had special blades made for them that was shorter katanas called Shinobi (assassin, shadow warrior) katana wich were quicker to draw and easier to carry... And they were of VERY high quality because its not a myth that ninja clans and familys made shitloads of money from their contracts.
These guys were just out having a bit of fun for the camera, i didnt see any recognisable Ninpo or kenjustu techniques, they were just messin so give them a break, filming your own action sequence aint easy.

As TBH, the sword techniques, aren't as direct as Ninjitsu would be. There's a dash of wu-shiu in here... so that it looks good..(which it does BTW).

the twirling looked cool but there slashes and attacks were way too slow, like if they were really trying to kill eachother they would be striking way faster.
