  • @angelofanguish words of wisdom my friend

  • perfect........

  • Is this from that Video Blitz video they released way back when? Wish that would come out on DVD. Krokus were cool. I got a poster of them wearing these exact clothes! LOL. They never got the props they deserved. Other bands that were not nearly as good got popular and then Krokus ended up getting trashed by Beavis and Butthead. Whatta suckass world we live in!

  • Awesome, thanks so much. Been a long time............

  • Chivalry matters.

  • I love Krokus!! Thanks for sharing

  • Gibson Explorer. Sounds great every time.

  • BETTER THAN STUDIO!!!!!

  • this tune kicks all kinds of ass ! great live sound, long live 80's metal ...

  • @rodase5 I agree! F**k modern rock/metal bands (if there ARE any, that is!)!

  • The bridge section at 3:20 or so kicks my ass every time! I used to crank the sh** out of my car stereo every time it came on. I love this song.

  • It seems like bands from that part of Europe, Switzerland , Germany, took their shit more seriously...both live and in the studio. Great song played very well.

  • solo guitar- Owen Wilson :D

  • 2:51-2:52 - looks like someone his the singer in his fro with a cigarette.

  • Zero dislikes....fuck yeah!

  • I saw a show on this tour - City Island, Harrisburg PA!

  • This is for my one and only.. :)

  • A True Anthem Of Metal...Live Is Better...Thanx For Posting...

  • 4o\m/

  • close your eyes and listen to the music go back to medieval times.

  • Head Hunter is in my top 20 records of the 80's metal scene.

  • @crusadercoach I have to agree. Headhunter was SOOOO great and the next one (Blitz?) was so bad!

  • @robfolcroft In my opinion, that being said, Krokus were a "one album" wonder.

  • Love this song. Thank God for the 80's and the great memories. Fortysomething and still rocking to this song.

  • @theroom761 That makes TWO of us! F**k modern rock/metal bands (if there ARE any, that is!)!

  • I seen these guys live in 1983. PAUL STANLEY was on the side of the stage watching them. They opened for KISS.When they played this song screaming in the night the place went nuts. Wow what a concert.

  • "Headhunter" is definitely one of best Hard Rock albums in early 80's.

  • Never saw these guys but rocked out to them. Now enjoy watching there vids,,,,YAH!

  • This is most awesome live performance what i ever watched! This band is wonderful! They are very underrated!

3:57 - The lead guitarist has given the pick ! ;)

Long Live Krokus! Best Whishes from Poland!

  • @0MetalMachine0

    I don't know about underrated....27 years and we're still talk'in bout them;}

They rocked us then and we're still rockin with em today...do you think they ever expected any more?

    It's all good..keep rockin

  • fucking amazing voice

  • Amazing Song!

  • wow great to see this video and hear this song again..Are they still together...are they still performing ...ive lost track of them

  • @strappingone No in answer to your question. Andy Tanas has his own band in Memphis and is doing very well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fav part:

In a corner of the valley, we took them by surprise

The sound of steel rang loud, above the battle cries

I found her laying lifeless, dagger through her heart

I picked her up, and held her high

And I swore to be aveeeenged!!!!

  • @GhostOfRockyHorror It is awesme isn't it? I never saw Krokus live but the one thing i love, Marc's singing like he's in a Shakespere play on Broadway!

  • Holy shit if I let my hair grow thats what it would look like a big Afro on a small white dude, lol

  • This video was played on Mtv back in the day...unfortunately i saw them in concert on this tour, they opened up for Def Leppard...Krokus stunk it up.

  • I LOVE this (funny story, my company's finance director is Mark Storace's cousin lol)

  • i saw these guys 5 or 6 times in the 80s . allways avery good show, underated band. marc storache has a great voice.

  • what a ROCKING band!!! dont get any better than the 80s!!!!

  • for some songs like this Ι am proud Metalhead

    Long live 80 s

  • @sakisolympia7

    #@#@#@#@#@#@

I'm right with you brother, no other era can equal the 80s.

  • @Zahn Tell THAT to those who've ALREADY applauded or are about to "applaud, and thus welcome," the modern bands!

  • @sakisolympia7 That makes TWO of us! F**k modern rock/metal bands (if there ARE any, that is!)!

  • king song. Nice fro he had. Look at him singing it unpluuged. Dont even look like the same dude anymore :(

  • Filmed in poughkeepsie, NY At the end of the show they asked everyone to stick around and they filmed footage and lip synched the song Our love for the video. After that there were few hundred people hanging around and the roadies brought out tubs of beer and we hung out till about 4am they signed my shirt and ticket. It was cool. they were cool guys jusy hanging out with everyonr having abeer shootin the shit.

  • Still great. I was at Texas Jam @ Cottonbowl in the 80s and they played this over PA & the crowd went wild. To bad Krokus wasn't there rather than Styx as headliner doing that Mr Roboto crap.

  • @undertow52 In my opinion, Mr. Roboto has GOT TO BE one of the WORST songs EVER WRITTEN! From the Best of Times to Mr. Roboto?! In my opinion, damn, what a DECLINE!

  • Takes me back to the days of my youth! Thanks for the post!

  • wow these guys sound the same live as they do on their albums. i like that

  • fantastic,cool as penguins piss,krokus forever

  • haha the guy at 3:57 is so happy he gave him the guitar pick! righteous!

  • hahaha at 2:52 someone threw a cigarette at marc and it bounced right off his hair!

  • Krokus was a great band.I say maybe a bit underrated. The only problem I had with Krokus was they did too many covers.I saw them opening for Def Leppard in 83 or 84.They did a great job.

  • What is that effect used for the intro,my friend said it was a certain flanger effect that comes on crate amps, anybody know what it is?

anyways, fucking awesome band, awesome song.

  • I saw Krokus in 1988 in a little bar in Fayetteville, NC (Fort Bragg) called The Other Side. They blew the roof off the place (literally...the max capacity was 250 and there was at LEAST a hundred more people than that). Was the best $20 I ever spent! I know those paratroopers did at least $10K in damage to that place that night. Hu-ah!

  • this clip aired on the King Biscuit Flour Hour back in the day - awesomeness never dies

  • E Geile Song

    Das get Energie!

  • One of me favorites, great song, great audio, great moments of my youngest years and highshool.

  • Great song, great band

  • This is by far the best live version I've seen of Krokus doing "Screaming in the Night". I remember that they were on Rock Palace and did this. If somebody has that and wants to post it, that would be very cool...

  • Wow, the audio on this is great for live. I'm very suprised at the mix and the minimal use of effects. The bass sounds great, nice lines. guitars kept their dynamics and the vocals are top notch. Great performance by these guys.

  • @charvelguy You don't need effects when your good. This sounds almost like the studio version and thats no shit man

  • @freebird1974 Effects are like spices in cooking. A little spice can go a long way but use too much & you've destroyed the entire dish. One of the things about this recording that is IMO impressive is that the bass didn't get squashed in the mix. More often than not when you see/hear these old live shows the bass sounds like mud. I just listened to the studio version and yep, they nailed it live.

Here's a bit of currently forgotten wisdom:

"If you can't do it live, don't do it in the studio."

  • @Fretslayer the only thing you can slay is you 3inch pee pee to painted ladys!!

  • @cohnson1 LOL! Ok. Looks like somebody got into their Mommy's cough medicine. Thanks for the laugh jr.
