Ah, Linoone, I started to love it when i caught a shiny one in my Emerlad version. :)
Linoone is great Pokemon in NU, but it needs a lot of support to be effective. From my expierence the best thing to do is to pair him with "pseudotrapping" Pokemon such as Slowking (Block+Yawn) or Munchlax (Block+Yawn), or Memento user such as Gardevoir or Jumpluff. Choice Band Digglet (no it's not a joke!) can work as well, trapping and killing Aggron and Bastiodon that block Linoone sweep.
As for the battle itself, I wonder why did he switched Shiftry at 1:38, basiclly giving you a free Belly Drum for nothing. Guess we'll never know. :o

Linoone is full of win. In PBR he kinda looks like a flameless Typhlosion. lol
