Ever see the early early film "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari"? Some of these scenes remind me of that set-- I think it was designed by German Expressionists. The houses are all pointy and tall, misshapen and dark-shadowed. This was really cool!!

I don't think this song is "totally about rape". In fact I think it's about two lovers, he's a bachelor and shes a bride. He finds out she's pregnant and he goes out and kills her.
