Is there any tips and tricks to beating challenge 8?

@RaZer98921 yup for sure. iv just got the last four medusas and screwed up and iv worked out that if you just roll and press triangle roll presstriangle roll press triangle until u see a slight gap then finish with a strong combo. but this is just a case of repeat untill finished as using this method u will hardly ever get hit and never get hit with the stare. try not to complete the combo when being locked on to with a medusa just roll away or toward her chipping away damage. and just repeat.

there's a break in the footage at 8:39; haha! what happened, they stoned you and you had to restart at level 7? i can tell your health is different. this challenge is actually pretty easy if you spam that one move. well played though

I just beat the challenge 10 after almost 5 hours, is insane this challenge, but a foud this, yeap that's the tecnique that u can see in the video, but don't try to just keep pressing the L1 botton all the time and don't pretend to stay in the same place all the time, just try to stay in the center, when you have no space to impuse from the floor just jump and press L1 and X, by the way you can do this two or three times in one jump, so good lack, and you need alot of pasience,

Is it possible to have a glitch on the game? I think I have one cause the medusas keep respawning. I fight them for a long time but they keep coming back.

It was a pain in the ass. I couldn't beat beat with L1+X, so I figured out a different way to do it. Change the blades at the beginnig (L1+R1) and then just double jump ands smash those f. goats with triangle. Each time you strike the fell of. Did it on my second try.

Oh, & another thing I did on 8, besides what he did here, while evading during gorgon stares, try to aim towards the 1's doing the stare while evading and do the flip attack. it'll stop the bitch from staring then u can continue the assault, until the next bitch starts her shit again lol. it helped me out

Yeah Challenge of the Gods is a bitch. I had no problems with challenges 1-7, then i got to 8 & was like WTF! I hate the gorgons with a passion. then eventually I did it. 9 was EZ. almost the same as killing 4 minotaurs. 10 took me about 20 min, & I was not gonna start over again. Now I have both platinums for GoW Collection. Thanks to tips from these vids. Bring on Challenge of Olympus! Less than a week 2 go baby!! Cant WAIT for GoW 3!!!!!

This is the only trophy that I think is the only hard one to get, the rest are easy. The first challenge makes you toss the enemies off the cliff without killing them on land!! cant even pass the first test, but I should be able to beat it soon I mean if I beat all the bosses in GoW2 on titan mode I'm sure I can get this one....Or maybe not, who knows.

I finally got past this part on the PS3 GOW collection! 3 hours without stopping L1 + X, with the occasional roll here and there, I also used whatever power it's called when you click in both sticks and that got me through it towards the middle when more guys were on the screen again. Fuck that was tough, and now I got my platinum trophy!

Hahaha, brilliant to see you panic @ 8.25, but well played in the end. Just completed Challenge of the Gods myself (for the second time in my life... PS2 for the win :P) and was curious to see if others used the same tactics. Well the answer is "pretty much", though my tactic for the lvl 10 was shite :( Kept doing Evade + X --> L1 + Circle... This looks easier, but well I got it in the end.

@KnightmarePSN I just can't make it.I tried dodge+X then L1+X. Then I tried dodge+X then L1+O. Also tried L1+X then L1+X again.I can't make it....i gave up on it i've been sitting for 4 hours making it your way and nothing....even with RotG.....I just don't have luck....I'm starting GoW 3,I don't care.....it is more balanced......I don't know what to say-stupid people made a stupid game,then they became smarter and created GoW 3-the best game ever!!!

It is the most effective method that I've found. There could be others, but I really doubt it -- as most other attacks are too risky or simply just doesn't work.

yeah its ok man i got the platnium this morning (2:30am LOL) and yea i can agree with that method but you could've also used the Square 8x cuz it knocks the Satyrs off and also Square, Square and then Hold Square which helped me a LOT but thanks your vid really helped

It can be found by going to the main menu and selecting Treasures.

For the last one i just did the counter technique. Press square after deflecting an attack to knock almost everyone off. It was still tough though but I got the Platinum!!!!!
