hey dude how did you get the original rear tires for that i didint think they made them anymore. i want some for my 350x that im rebuilding right now. i hope it comes out like your dude it looks great.
thanks man i, i should be getting another 250r tomorrow, im waiting for photos and if it has the additional parts i need then ill have two projects or a donnor bike.
Ancient Chinese secret? No, wait... paint and polish. The left case was a brand new OEM Honda. The right was a used one that I painted with computer matched paint from the left one. Aluminum was done by wet sanding with 200/400, 600, 800 sandpaper then a buffing wheel. It takes time!
Heck, I bet I've got three grand in buying and rebuilding. I found this route is NOT the cheaper way. However, I've got a machine that is better than what it was new!
Hey great work man. I'm just about done with my 81 and I have done every performance mod there is from porting to compression you name it. These are the funnest machines to ride. Way better than any sport quad.
I was off and on with for 2.5 years. The problem is that I wouldn't work on it until I hit a fever pitch and then I'd dump all my time and money in it. Then I'd loose the fever and not touch it for six months at a time. I'm doin a 200x now and it's the same story, haha.
ive got a 71 alouette snowmobile ide like to restore.. i love seeing people restoring these trikes their so worth it.. costs less to resto one than it would to buy a new quad and their more fun to ride so why the hell not eh?
Beautiful!!!

The Westcoast swingarm was a nice bonus. I found a pair of Westcoast extended hubs on a junker. The owner sold them to me for $25.00.
