@xNia119 - One small problem that fans are forgetting. The difference between pokemon and digimon (which is better), is because unlike pokemon, it had some of the most intense brutal death scenes I've ever seen from a typical kids' show. As a casual fan for both series, Ash never reall made it through puberty, while the children in the digimon series grew in the next season xD. Plus it even shows a puppet monster (pinnochiomon) throw his attack and instantly kills his own ally. me: O_O

@maverickhunterdelta I agree, but the problem here is that you are comparing Digimon with the Pokémon anime. As you say, Digimon is FAR better, the Pokémon anime is just trash xD! but most fans doesn't seem to know what the Pokémon Special manga is. I'd say it's even better than Digimon. It has ALL what the Pokémon anime lacks of: GREAT history, awesome characters (ALL of them) and amazing plot twists. I highly recommend everyone to read it c:

@xNia119 - Ofcourse we CAN compare these series! Anime vs Anime (not manga, doesn't count). They are not the same, HOWEVER, they are similar with monsters/pets/creatures. Why should I go so far to READ (I can read the bible instead or other books) something, just to advance my enjoyment within a series? Besides also, I know for the fact that pokemon has great games, but there are other games aswell xD (e.g. Skyrim). But thanks for the recommendation, still I do read comics instead x3

@FOG2006 Power Rangers is a show where humans get some suits and then fight monsters that the villain sends at them. What sounds similar to that from Xros Wars? Maybe fusing Digimon together like Zords but hardly any digimon in it is a machine. That's just like saying Transformers fusing parts are rip off power rangers.

And i saw Xros Wars it's my favorite season, expect it's sequel season 7 which sucks because every episode is filler you can expect Taiguru to catch every digimon in the episode

@ProjecL - I ignored frontier for that very same reason you commented. Hell, it was THAT ONLY ONE REASON that I ignored the show completely cause of the transformations. HOWEVER!

I got back on rewatching the show (english dub), let me say.... it actually takes me back to why I watched the first 2 series. Tamers pretty much was the one I dislike, because they were trying too hard to make it dark. First 2 were dark, but the tone was still fun and kid friendly to watch.

HOWEVER! we are forgetting about few things if we only see the ONE PROBLEM. Its story, concept, characters, plot, setting, and conflicts. It is actually freaking FUN, the action is great, the story (children + chosen + sucked in the digital world = old friend), and the goggle leader is a badass like the first 2. Oh the transformations aren't THAT lame

But it's still fun to watch and they are a lot of jokes in it for example when they we're stuck on one of the mons(i think it was Ophanimoon) when they just fired into a direction right after transforming for no reason at all

Also another thing is that they didn't got any zords which is good because i hate zord battles in PR. I mean everything you expect is few attacks from the enemy, rangers get hurt and then they find out something that destroys the enemy.

Ya I'd have to say season one to four were the best ! Season 5 = fail. & Season = There's like one digidestined & their digivolve thing is weird. They need to get back to basics... bc all the cool ways to digivole are taken like amor,dna, biomerge, spirit evolving. now what ever the hell they did in season 5 was embarrassing & they chose the majority of digidestined to be young adults. I'm glad they brought back kids.. but somethings still missing. I love digimon

They killed off the only reason I kept watching (BlackWargreymon) the way they beat Malo Myotismon was outright stupid and most of the digimon had shitty designs aside from Stingmon and Veemon's forms not to mention Sora going out with Mat.t. In comparison season 4 had a goo plot the whole way through, better characters, far better villains and better digimon designs.
