The mystery man isn't really a mystery anymore, the guys name is Dr. Gersch (most likely the creator of the Gersch Device) just Wikipedia the list of characters in Black Ops and then scroll down to Zombies and when it talks about Samantha it will say that she has captured Dr. Gersch in the thing he is trapped in on the map Acension.

Well my opinion is that steps 7 are 8 are done and thats that what at 1:35 you see the illuminati triangle which is a symbol for devil worshipers so when you shoot the ray gun and thunder gun and all of those the orb dude comes out and says thank you for freeing me. so raising hell which is him and freedom which means you freed him.

@RapRockPopMusic REALLY? Please tell me you just got the map... You have to fly each of the landers to the Centrifuge until the rocket shown on screens across the map is entirely green. Then you push the button. Under the rocket is the Pack-A-Punch. Also, if you shoot the rocket with a Ray Gun mid launch, it blows up and you get a drop.

Well, after u take out gursh (wielding it ready to be thrown) throw it precisely onto the steel/whatever box that's located right below the window of the woman's scream. The gursh device doesn't activate..:( why? B/c something/someone trleported it away and you'll hear Samanthas (again sry for my miss spelling if the name is wrong) laughs. How crucial to have just lost a gursh device.. Or does this mean something? Hope this helps.. :)

Hey hey, wanna know another posibility of an easteregg? (idk what this is but it is pretty touchy..) Get a gursh device, sorry if I spelled Gersh wrong. Then go to the place where PHD flopper is. U all know the place beside the PHD flopper where u hear a loud pitch woman's scream music sound?, well, go there and look out the window towards the floor. From doing this u should see a steel or something box platform something like that.. Go down the stairs and get out ur gursh

When ever u do the Easter egg, the zombies become more aggressive, I think the "raise hell" refers to simply killing the zombies ect. And the "freedom" is a reference to dieing and not being in ascension any more. But it was just a thought...

ok guys, look for a door which is locked with chaines go with the 90 second death machine to the door. (i believe the door is somewhere in the beginning) shoot at the chain and maby the door will open. i haven't tryed yet but it can be a solution. succes!

The Mystery Box's beginning location will always be in the power room. This is the first time in Zombies since Der Riese where the Mystery Box has an initial spawn point as opposed to the random spawn points in Kino der Toten, and "Five".
