What they're talking about is most likely the fireball travelling down the elevator-shafts and exploding in the building, people were badly burned down there. And in Naudet's documentary you can see that something blasted the lobby pretty bad. The windows were blown out, and the marble was partially destroyed. But is that really lying? The c.pse time of the tower IS 18 seconds, but if you are thinking of the final collapse, the time is somewhere between 6.5-6.8 seconds. 1.The "explosion" was the plane impact, I've watched the vid twice now, why did they run down the stairs? Because a plane had hit, then when they got to the lobby, it was torn up.
