  • Here I am Billy! I was the soldier.

    :-)

  • glad this has been immortalised, good memories of the best tv program ever made

  • lol fav part is the drummer part where he says fine pair of socks instead of f**k

  • the beep covered the word COUNtry clientel

  • oh and the beep wasnt meant to cover anything, its what you interpret it as.

  • thats my dad, in the black.

    i miss him

  • I miss you too Bronts. Love Dad xxx

  • @bronter00lzd00d I'd very proud..:)

  • is the censored word the one at the very end?

  • i absolutely love this! it brings me back to old Red Faces days on Hey Hey... fantastic work guys!

  • The missing word is country, broken into two syllables.

  • Actually the bleeped out word is far call clientel.

  • Yeah sure mate.

  • Well it looks like all the ole gang is here now! That was a lot of fun. I recall the gong being very loud - hence the 'jump' at the end. Now where did I leave those knitting needles?...signed Sarah Parry

  • Fucking retard. That's all everyone is thinking.

  • I haven't seen this in years. Obviously making subtle references to the fact that she is rather well stacked :) Even as a 12 year old school boy I could tell these things

  • This song just randomly came in to my head just then and im so glad i was able to find it on youtube! I remember watching this live when i was younger... LOVE RED FACES, absolutely gold - ty uploader!

  • The trenchcoat one is: Hyde Park Boys - Red Faces in "Perth.

its on the last page of the 60 related videos on the right.

  • Has anyone got footage of the guy who sang

"Automatic" by The Pointer Sister while inhaling

    helium??

  • yep...it was count try

  • It's the c-word. "Country clientele".

  • of course it was!

  • thanks

  • Something tells me there was no word. The beep was to leave it open to interpretation

Also haven't the Best Of Red Faces been released on DVD?

  • Judging by its context, I think that the censored word was the f word. BTW is that supposed be a pirate, a rabbi, a soldier and a sailor?

  • something like that

  • Well I do admit I have wondered if I saw them at Old Sydney Town once.

  • Love this! Remember it from all those years ago and had to show my partner! Always makes me laugh!

  • bet you wont get this song outta your head now

  • A classic moment on Aussie TV

  • to fivecougarsoz...

    do not...

the guy on the far left...

  • near spitting image tho! (re: the guy on the left looking like Kim Gyngell)

  • ....they have to be related or something if its not Kim Gyngell...its amazing.

  • haha excellent!

  • the guy on the far left looks like Kim Gyngell (Col'n Carpenter) !

  • have you got the one with the blokes in trenchcoats I think was on the Live Perth Show now that was so well done

  • yeah i was looking for that one too when i discovered this one, but this one's great aswell.

let me know if you find the trenchcoat one;)

  • funny with very clever lyrics, ty mumandtwins for sharing

  • FOUND IT THANKS I LOVE IT sorry for yelling but this is CLASSIC consider it shared

  • twat? twat? i cunt hear you. lol that was a funny bit of musical humor.

  • Yeh it was Cunt-ry Clientelle...

  • cunt?

  • Well it looks like we only need Andy and Sarah and we've got the ole gang back together again.

    Signed the priest!

  • ps: whatever happened to the sword song...

  • hey dam, you said it, alright...wish i cud remember what it was... any hints?

  • I know what the missing word is - 'cos i said it! (The guy next to Sarah). Good to see Sarah is still knocking about...

  • good to see it again - what memories (correct spelling)- and thanks to all who enjoyed the skit, we certainly enjoyed doing it - the dirty guy on the left...

  • @pkillingly thanks friend....your part of history....

  • @pkillingly Dressed as a pirate?

  • @pkillingly I watched this as a kid XD Been going back over youtube watching all the stuff I've seen as a kid and loving it :D

  • I would love to see the full song lyrics. Anyone know a link

  • the funny and yet sad thing is my name is Sarah Parry i used to get ripped into so much as a kid for this ha ha

  • I remembered this when it was first shown. I would have been about 10 and thought it was cool, but didn't really know what they were on about. Then on the "best of" many years later it was on and by that time i knew the true meaning of "seamstress" and it made it soo much funnier!

  • if you have it can u please post the guy that plays bombora on a guitar with a power drill to strum the strings

  • Any lano and woodley clips on red faces and ah hey hey in general?

  • I think the guy on the left may be Kim Gyngell. Possibly this act was his big break into comedy.

  • Probably my favourite red faces act... except for maybe the fastest man in the world and Teenage Cremation.

  • My guess is that the word might be "country". If you split it into its two syllables, it fits well into both the meter and the semantics of the ditty. :D

  • and the missing word is ?

  • I know the missing word.

  • Daryl spewed down his white shirt.

  • Dickie knee

  • Hey Hey had its memorable moments, this was one of them. In fact, I make the following word up in honour, superblative!

  • thats gold!! lol...man i really wanna know what that missing word is

  • lmfao, i only just seen this on Hey Hey by request

  • On 1:17 a cameo.

  • daryl can't remember the censored word - looks like it will be a mystery forever
