The fact he had enjoyed living abroad becuase he could afford to does not change the fact he was and always will be a True Brit. One of the greats of british stage. Why cheapen that with a sly dig based on the presumption that where he choose to reside somehow changes what he was to British culture?
@ghostfaced1 It wasn't a sly dig, I corrected an incorrect statement and I never implied he was no longer a brit though questionable whether he was a "true" brit. You use the term "ex pat, ex means once was or is no longer, the phrase speaks for itself. My comment is not a criticism of the great man, only of the comment I replied to.
Are there ther even any peole like this anymore? I'm in mourning.
