Okay......you cannot have a partner that is going to mess up the routine a little bit. The girl on the right missed the first leg kick in the routine, but she got the second one!! They are not really pros yet. They are good, but they are not pros yet. A bit more practice, and then let me see what they can do.

But seriously, they are very good and professional dancers. Check out their dvd if you don't believe me. What you're watching here is obviously shot without their permission, and at some club event where they are dancing under bad conditions -- if the monitors are no good and they can't hear the sound properly, of course the synchronization will be off.

These girls rocked the house a Spirit 8, and I got a chance to learn a part of this choreography in their workshop. It was awesome, and nowhere near as easy as they make it look here. It is definitely fusion bellydance!

I am jealous! These girls were great in this video; their choreography was imaginative and they exude confidence in their dancing. I think Rachel Brice has some commentators spoiled (I adore her, but if she's all you see on YouTube, you're going to have unrealistic expectations of most belly dancers). Not everyone can be Rachel Brice, and not everyone wants to imitate her style. These girls bring something of their own to tribal fusion.

My response to this got erased. When RB comes to Tokyo these girls always dance at her show. She was impressed enough with them to get them added to Spirit of the Tribes as INSTRUCTORS. So give the hating a rest and go watch something you enjoy.

If you look at the poster, she (he?) probably isn't familiar with the dance so ANYONE who is doing it in public is a "professional" to them. And lastly, they are not even CLOSE to being bad and they very well might BE pro's. Pro doesn't imply perfection, there are PLENTY of "professional" whatevers that are bad, good, great and excellent at what they do. No need to come down on people who are bold enough to get up there and dance in the first place. I think you girls were very entertaining :-)

Wow, some pretty nasty comments. First, this should even be compared to Egyptian belly dance because it's apples and oranges. Yes, this is slightly mislabeled. It should be more clearly identified as "Tribal fusion". Secondly, they shouldn't be compared to Rachel Brice, who gets paid a lot of money to do what she does. She SHOULD be better than them. They're obviously dancing in some sort of bar or restaurant in what looks like a performance show and they probably aren't being paid. (con't...)

Theres nothing really good about this. The only thing that even comes close to being 'belly' dancing is the waist movements. Even then, barely belly dancing. Pretty damn bad in my opinion. Rachel Brice whoops their asses.

These girls are E-Chan & Milla and I personally tell that they are great. I have the opportunity to see their in live performance and they are excellent. Also, they teach a great class on Tribal of the Spirit 7 on Fort Lauderdale, Fl last April and everybody love them.

From one who's done traditional Japanese dance, there's nothing tradition about this. Just FYI. But I agree. I really like the fusion of techno and bellydance. Very entertaining!

I've been bellydancing for five years now and this does not seem very much like bellydancing. Maybe they fused traditional japanese style dances with bellydance but this just seems too techno. I dunno. No offense though, its great to see this diversity all the way in japan! Great video!
