43 Petty Dodge Charger at Atlanta Motor Speedway

i had a 72 b-5 blue charger with a white vinyl top. only had a 318 but with a 650 cfm 4bbl hooker headers and true duel exhaust with cross over and flowmaster 40s i had a poor mans petty charger sans the 43. plus it got 26 mpg. i traded it for a 71 sport fury with hideaway headlights wipers for the headlights and a CAAsette recorder. with a 440. i dunno i kindo miss the charger. it was just as fast untill about 70mph where the big block could take it to lunch after that

That didn't look like Petty's actual car. Was it a copy for street use?

I loved that car as a kid watching the King tear it up at Daytona.
