Honestly I liked the game, sure it was predictable at times and it looked like it had been rushed (which it prob did a bit) but the humor in it is incredible and the FPS in it isn't that bad either it is just the graphics I remeber DUKE NUKEM for the humor and FPS and this game did both pretty well.

Hell are you talking about? The level design,enemy placement, creative weapons, and different situations the game puts you in keeps the combat from getting repetitive. You don't do any of the stuff over again, the boss fights are awesome, and you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

totally agree with you. the game is not perfect, but still a fun experience. and also, it deserves more positive reviews. ign said it was mediocre, and the rest said 1 or 2 out of a 5 stars. this game is really underrated.

@Apinhaka I decided to get the game. In spite of hearing all of the reviews and things that people said, I eventually got it anyway feeling I had to just because it was the next main Duke Nukem. And I agree. Playing it without a biased outlook, or one uninfluenced by the gratitutious negativity, reveals a solid game, both singleplayer and multiplayer. The only part I disliked that still stands is that it felt too short for its price.

How high was he when he made this review? This game was terrible and definitely did not "look like a next generation game". As for the "great variety of weapons" there were about 10 total weapons that all felt the same. The levels were stale and repetitive and the load screens took forever by today's standards. There is a reason why many of the top game rating companies, Xplay for example, gave it a 1 out of 5. It is selling for about $8 on Amazon, and that says something. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!

Due to the fact that you don't took out the COMMENTS on your BF3 vs MW3 comparison. I was stunned with the fact of you saying that the MW3 would be better than BF3 because.... the fans would have more of the same with a very small learning curve!? That's what generation it was for and going to compete against not mw3 and bf3 of todays generation. And most of those years werent spent in development rather the team being split up and delays. Ah hahahhaaha. Love you using the major sources for reviews that if they gave anything other than a high rating they weren't going to get the next MW game. Wasn't it metacritic that gave MW3 an 81 and gave BF3 a 89?

The only reason DNF got such harsh reviews is because it had 3 developers rework it entirely 3 times. And had a 12 year long development cycle. It is still a fun, old school shooter. But if it was lauded for that everyone would loose their credibility.

Duke Nukem Forever may not have lived up to the 12 year wait, but it's still an underrated game. reviewers have bashed the life out of it because it doesn't live up to expectations. it's not a bad game. it's an average game. it's fun and at times and hilarious. i'd recommend it at a low purchase.
