  • How lucky were the people who were in attendance at this concert!!

  • Kurt did an E before the show.

  • pat smears guitar is badass.

  • COURTNEY LOVE, Y U NO RELEASE THIS AS DVD / BLU RAY? THIS IS THE BEST FUCKING CONCERT THEY EVER DID, ASIDE FROM UNPLUGGED IN NEW YORK. YOU FUCKING BITCH. If you have ANY respect for your dead husband, you will get this released in 2012. JUST FUCKING DO IT !

ROCK ON GUYS ! Nirvana 4 EVER

  • Probably best Nirvana concert there was.

  • If only Kurt knew how much he was idolised and appreciated, would he have still blown his head off?

  • @JRGrange25 Herion make people do strange things.. Look at Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, and on ...

  • @JRGrange25

He already knew because they were HUGE even before he died. But he had bi-polar disorder, (used to be called manic depression). People with that have VERY up and down moments. I think in some cases there is little you can do to help someone who gets that low. If he sought help from medication/therapy/etc it would be a totally different story, but he didn't. Instead he 'self medicated' with illegal drugs which makes it even worse. I think he was beyond help in some ways.

  • wow

  • This should be sold as a DVD/CD, not Reading...

  • @tmantonym

You can buy this on DVD but I think it's unofficial. It's called Nirvana Live and Loud. (Or Live N Loud). By the way everyone, pretty much EVERY single Nirvana concert and interview, ever made... (hundreds of them) including extremely rare ones that you wont find on YouTube etc. are available on specialist collectors websites. The best one I know of is Sound of Dentage. Google that and you will find them. It takes a long time to collect it all yourself but its all there.

  • Pat Smear is one lucky bastard.

  • which song is the second song?

  • @999rambo999

'Serve The Servants' from the album 'In Utero'

  • whos the noob wiyh the SG??

  • @larstheguitarguy

the 'noob' you called him, is Pat Smear, the 2nd guitar player of Nirvana in this time... check it on Wikipedia...

  • @AJBUCSFAN how and where did she order that? just curious

  • I would fucking kill for that Guitar. The combination of red and blue is awesome.

  • @AJBUCSFAN kay, in exchange for your small clone, i still need that one :p

  • SHE SAID SHE SAID SHE SAID SHE SAID SHE SAID SHE SAID SHE SAID SHE SAIIIIIID

  • Breed is such a kick ass song

  • thats pat smear he was 4 the in utero tour to liven up the soundbackgrounds

  • Who is the guy with short blond hair?

  • @Gowolves95

    It's Pat Smear, tour guitarist

  • His name is Pat Smear. He was in a really influential punk band called The Germs. He was also in the Foo Fighters when they started. Hope this helps, merry xmas!

  • what's with dave? he gradually stripped down throughout the performance :D

  • This is unREAL! I wish i was there.

  • great material by the way somebodey have in dvd the concert in texas when kurt is punched and kicked by a roadie? that material is for sale?

  • Live tonight sold out... you can buy it in stores.

  • Its on the Live! Sold out! Tonight! DVD

  • Love it. I love it even more than their '91-'92 shows. 1993 was definitely their creative peak.

  • cobain el mejor !"!·"!"·!" nirvana perfetc

  • David Grohl is just too awesome, after Kurt.

  • what is kurts guitar tuned two

  • it is tuned od the normal key can be nothing else mybe in the serve the servants is tunded down

  • It's tuned in E flat, just one note down from normal tuning.

  • I find it interesting that he didn't speak to the audience in between songs and just gets down to the business of playing the music. That's so Kurt. I love it. He looks fantastic here, too.

  • He does a few times in the MTV Unplugged if you've ever heard that one.

  • krist has like the best bass groove of any bassist

  • goose pumps watching this

  • man.. this is so fucking great.

  • awesome rape me

    scream

  • holy shit, i saw that guitar kurt is playing in the rock and roll hall of fame today. probably the only thing i'll see of his in my life. it was so cool to see my own reflection in it and think he played this all throughout the in utero tour

  • Nirvana Shit!!!!!!!!! Yeah

  • this is amazing thank you so mutch

  • Comment removed

  • unbelieveble awesome!!! best concert they ever did!!

  • perfect

  • theres not even a word 2 describe it

  • awesome ty 4 uplodin

  • classic nirvana right here!

  • Man i love rape me, such a great song

  • kurt had finally made peace with MTV when he played this concert. And this is Kurt Basically playing each song as clean as as best to acurate that I have ever seen. IF who ever owns this coyright had brains, it needs to come out od DVD. In fact it should have been out along time ago. Nirvana at their finest.

  • Who ever did the sound for this show was perfect for the job. Kurts guitar sounds Loud but not overpowering and his vocal fit in nice with the drums as well.

  • their most memorable TV performance. simply unreal.

  • B4grunge...Hi! lol I know you've seen me here more than once. I've just never said thanks, so...

    Thanks! :)

    Peace out. GFW

  • On serve the servants Pat and Kurt sound great together.Anyway Love it man Nirvana reigns the best band EVER!!!!!!!!R.I.P KURT DONALD COBAIN,WE ALL MISS YOU!!!!!!

  • this is GOdLike! thanks for the post :]]

  • serve the servants was such a musical progression! I reckon the next album after in utero could have sounded like that, maybe more acoutical

  • kurt said in a interview that they myt try prog rock, but i dunno if that was tongue in cheek cos nothing we saw showed kurt being a gd enough guitarist for prog, just a great punk guitarist. so maybe he had no plans for the next album?

  • is this on dvd?

  • yep

  • Thanks so much for putting these up B4Grunge! This fucking rocks. You the man.

  • would you happen to know if the in utero tour is on dvd? or if not, is it in the works? i'd really love to have it but i've never seen a dvd of it before

  • He died the night after i went to my first pearl jam show in buffalo , ny as i recall, i remember being so shocked and sad, i saw them about six months earlier at a small college and it was great. Rip kurt.

  • on this concert they play Come as you are and other 2 songs but MTV cut it

  • What a f--- energy! Straight, in yr face!

  • olive5434 i fuck your mother okay?

  • Nice English, okay?

  • kurts wife pai an murder to kill him. lol its a funny "pai"

  • wots the 2nd song?????????

  • serve the servants??!

  • Kurt was most likely murderd.

    -no fingerprints on shotgun

-3x lethal dose of heroin in blood

-last lines of so called "suicide" note not his handwirting

-shotgun was too long unless he pulled trigger with toes(he had shoes on)

    + more inconsistencies

    research it, Kurt was MURDERD!

  • dude f off, either respect the vid and song and band or dont watch it, simple, awesome vid btw

  • What's wrong with talking about the truth? I think it shows a lot of respect to try to get the word "Suicide" off Kurt's death certificate. Obviously, you don't think enough of Kurt to want to do so. Where's YOUR respect?

  • ok i realy do respect kurt, he was a great musician and iconic, i have liked nirvana since my dad played me nevermind when i was 5, when i found out he was dead at about 7 or 8 i was upset, he is awesome, i am starting to beleive he was killed more, but he was awesome, i just respect him for being brilliant at what he did, not how he died, upseting as it is

  • true words brother...the years can pass but will live in our hearts, i love Nirvana...Kurt RIP

  • too true. have you read 'who killed Kurt Cobain'

    death of an icon??

its good, but i still think he commited suicide.. i really do.

  • as much as i love cobain we can never truly know what happed in 94, RIP

  • klasse konzert

    einfach nur geil!

  • in serve the servants he says " i try hard to have a SISTER but intesdt i had a dad" but on the in utero cd he say "i tried harder to have a father but intesdt i had a dad"

  • amazing

  • he forgot what the lyrics were

  • you mean had a sister instead of father? he did that on purpose, he was ashamed.

  • i dont think he was ashamed, i just think he got bored.

  • of what? in most songs he changed the lyrics live. "load up on guns, shoot your friends"

  • incredible gig

  • ~this is to that dumbass Goddess chick.. hey.. if your not from Seattle.. who gives a fuck??? You say Seattle-ISH or.. whatever. nobody cares.. Nirvava was awesome and I see this video and.. remember..he loved music his messege.. not money or sighing up..he just loved his music and I still love him~

  • I love nirvana Solos

  • more germans than any other kind of people on youtube *_* stimmts Jungs =D

  • I'm german too!^^

  • Oh man... that's awsome...^^

Has anyone the Audio of this gig? If you have it, send me a message... sorry for my bad English, I'm German^^

  • What was that for an guitar, Kurt played ?

  • Fender Mustang

He also used a Fender Jag-Stang in the In Utero tour. I'm gonna buy one myself pretty soon! =D

  • dont!!!! the jag stang is a horrible guitar!!!

  • No!

    I love it.

It's like the perfect guitar for me, thin neck, thick strings. <3

  • A telecaster has all of those, and sounds exactly the same if you put a humbucker in!!!

  • I already have a telecaster =)

  • good lad :D :D :D

  • @Blaulichtbalken jag-stang, a custom made guitar by fender designed by kurt himself

  • @1curt12

no sorry dude, that's a Fender Mustang. His Jag-Stang had a white pickguard...

  • @Blaulichtbalken yes you are right but he had two of them one olympic white w/ red pick guard and the other sonic blue with white.

  • @1curt12

sure? I thought he had 3 sonic blue/red Mustangs ( 2 of them he used on the In Utero-Tour, the other one just stands at home ) and a red Mustang first with a red pickguard, but switched with a white pickguard later...

and he also had a pure green Mustang, I think.. seen on the first 'In Bloom'-Video of 1990.

  • I love how he does that little jump at :25.

  • In Utero is WAY better than Nevermind. It's a lot more artful.

  • yay, absolutely, the references to patrick Suskind' s Perfume, William Burroughs and Frances Farmer are artfully cool. Most musicians do song about other musicians, Cobain did something really unique in that he referenced people from other areas. He was what made me read Burroughs.

  • I have both of em, I still haven't figured out which one I prefer, I guess its based on which songs I wanna hear

  • yes. in utero > nevermind

  • I never thought about it before, but Nirvana doesn't sound like "grunge" to me. Indie gone wild maybe.

They were from Seattle that's why. Me no like grunge.

  • you r right about that brother. Soundgarden, mudhoney all that never did anything 4 me and Pearl Jam just send me to sleep. zzzzzzz.

  • No one in Nirvana was from Seattle. If anything, they were an "Olympia Band." The media stuck them with "Seattle" probably because it was better known. There are a few books you can read that get more into it. :0)

    Peace out. GFW

  • It looks like the mtv new years eve show. I could be wrong though.

  • isnt the mtv live and loud gig? im not sure, but uit looks like it maybe cood be.

    RIP kurt

  • Brutal

  • does anyone know where this concert took place?

  • he changes serve the servants lyrics! =O lol "i tried hard to have a sister but instead i had a dad"

    lmao xD

  • does anybody else think that the extra guitarist [pat smear] looks slightly like pete bennit, the winner of big brother? lol he just reminds me of him, not sure why ...

serve the servants xD the BEST song

  • in utero kurt is so much cooler than nevermind kurt

  • Breed is a nevermind song..

  • alot of ppl jump when they play whts the big deal...

  • Kurt usually stands still unless he is smashing is instruments.

  • ya so...

  • bloody hell did ya see kurt actually jump on the intro to breed

  • Kurt usually stands still unless he is smashing is instruments.

  • you can totally see how bad kurt felt :/

  • man thats badass!

  • auesome!

  • I think this In utero tour is one of the greatest concerts that Nirvana have made

  • check out the reading festival, that was a great show too

  • My god.You have GOT TO love Nirvana. If you don't,you're a fucking douche that wouldn't know anything about music even is it spits in your face.

Anyways,Rape Me is my favorite song in the history of music,never-the-less by Nirvana. And to see it played live so perfectly makes me smile.: ]

Kurt is so fucking hot in this concert, his hair is so flippiful.♥

  • this will get removed they remove mtv shows and will suspend your account like they did to catalinas and kswis for posting mtv made clips u can only post shows and concerts not made for mtv. just letting u know if u wish to keep your account.

  • Lol I thought it was kinda weird for Kurt to change the line in Serve The Servants to *I tried hard to have a sister but instead I had a dad.* More understandable imo when he sang it in the original context. Awesome show though, Nirvana is the best.

  • nirvana sounds so much better live, their "From the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah" live album the best

  • The name says it all :-)

    CONON NIRVANA FANS OUT THERE!!!

  • perrillo2006 is from the other side telling us we wont see him or anyone?

  • kurt cobain is so freakin' hot in this concert! my jaw drops and my mouth gets watery every time i watch this. i will forever love you Kurt Cobain... my mother fuckin' favorite rock star of all time!

  • lol! I agree 100%!

    Peace out.

  • i got a boner every time i hear them

  • What is the name of the second song?

  • serve the servants, the first track off of 'in utero'

  • Kurt rules... I can't wait 'till I see him after death (if you trust in those things.)

    R.I.P.! ^^

  • i can tell u now that u wont see him. u wont see anybody

  • you are mad kid.

  • Grohls drumming is fucking phenomenal on this gig. Cobain amazing, Krist and Pat tight as fuck..excellent. the ultimate Nirvana gig..

  • i 2nd that one

  • why live in utero part 3 and 4 I can't watch?

  • cuz you scuk

  • at 4:07 pat makes the gayest face like "oh i dont give a shit about this song"... ive always hated pat smear... nirvana will be like all chill rockin out on stage and you see pat smear in the corner of the camera flopping around like a douche.

  • You're a douche.

  • I agree with you. Pat seems like a nice guy but I think he ruined the Nirvana live experience.

  • I agree 100% with you.

  • Wow..no one really likes Pat in Nirvana but me.I think he made the performances more loud and...well...raw.He seems nice, too.

  • yeah man pat smear rules. i think if he was good enough to be in nirvana he has the fuckin right to rock out. it is rock and roll is it not?

  • you are a piece of a broken dick ,and shut up.

  • Why don;t you shut up?

  • fucking amazing nirvana are Gods

  • i'm amazed of the band's energy and especially of kurt on that show.cause the end was near and most other shows in '93 seem powerless and kurt mostly was very fucked up

  • You have no idea what your talking about. Most shows in 93 were awesome, take 12/31/93 and many other shows like 10/23/93 for example. It may seem like they were powerless due to poor bootleg quality. This show is a pro shot with pro sound, Which I guarantee other shows during that time would have sounded just as powerful had they been pro shot.

  • fucking amazing stage.

  • what are the songs played in this vid?

  • drain you, serve the servants and rape me

  • Breed, serve the servants and rape me.

  • amazing video!!!

  • best live concert i've ever seen

  • your mum

  • fuckin awsome

  • Amazing. Just simply ace. Who can't hate Breed!?!

  • This rock the house down!

  • I love this so much³ =D 'Causeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. We can't plant a house! =D
