  • I almost felt the cold shame perspiration running down his spine as he had to recite the publicity poem.

This video makes me think the bike is different for the sake of being different, publicity stunt stuff. Otherwise we would have heard real info, not this...

  • PR garbage

  • Sounds like they have found they solution to the global financial crisis. Really Really

  • I guess it becomes a trails bike when you come to a rocky ledge? Apparently, he hasn't ridden a Ducati ST4S with a tuned 996 motor. Sounds like the VFR1200 cooks breakfast as well..

  • I thought old guys who ride bikes were supposed to have more honor, pride and courage to tell it like it is. This guy's either venal or he's dense. Or he's only ridden six bikes in his life.

  • He says it's at its best on twisty roads, better than a 600 sportbike. Oh yeah, I believe that... And all the hype about the V-four character - what about the character of a triple - I guess by logical extension that will transform an even worse rider into a brilliant one.

  • He didn't compare it to a 600, asshole. He was talking about 1000cc bikes like the 'Blade and the SP2.

  • What a load of predigested corporate hype, but what else can be expected from someone who works for the company. Yes, thank you Honda for this miracle: The bike will 'make bad riders good', a lot of motorcycles will not let the "rider get the input into the bike whereas this bike performs the way the rider wants it to in whatever mood the rider's in". WTF? That's just dreamy ad copy.

  • the torque comes from the different layout of the crank throws compared to an inline (new R1 excepted)

  • Completely nuts. You don't even know what torque is. What you are talking about is the low-speed performance of the engine. Engine torque at low engine speed depends entirely on the amount of air the engine takes in at low engine speed, per each individual rotation of the crank or per each individual intake stroke. The only way that the crankshaft arrangement can possibly influence torque at low engine speed is by influencing that quantity of air.

  • instead of spouting off why don't u stick to humping your pillow. loser.

  • Sorry, dude, I was not spouting off. I was simply offering a technically correct statement about the nature of engine torque, to refute your bogus nonsense. You are the one who is spouting off. Why don't you explain why you think the crankshaft layout can influence engine torque? Engine torque is in proportion to the amount of work performed (and fuel used) per a given amount of crank rotation, i.e., full rotation or full cycle. This is elementary physics. You are manifestly ignorant.

  • huh? i wasn't aware that a V-4 configuration is more torquey than an inline. other than vibration they should have similiar if not exactly the same power and torque, all other things being equal

  • dont just talk about it........show us it in action!!!!!!!

  • So it's unique then?
