Thanks, Edgar. I'd like to recommend _Infantry Aces_ by Franz Kurowski, which I believe is currently out of print but can be had used at amazon. Kurowski is a fine author who specializes in the German side of WWII. I also highly recommend his book _Knights of the Wehrmacht_, which has a brief biography of Knight's Cross holders in the Afrikakorps.
I hope we never have to fight the Germans again!

Their you can read alot of heroic stories.
