  • I have been studying spanish for a year and a half now, and it's extremely rewarding when I can come to spanish videos now and know everything before they even say it.. Looks like my hard work has paid off.:D btw, thanks for the video;)

  • Ella es muy guapa : )

  • Interesting accent, I speak spanish but with a very different accent, by the way a few of the translations are a little off or are in general what would not necessarily be used.

  • ola come astas

  • No! Nintendo wahhahahaha

  • very good lesson! thanks....and i wanna makelove with this girl! ufff....so nice!

  • She is so cute!

  • Yo soy de Honduras = yo soy catracho

  • amor

  • Your Hot

  • Yo soy Argentino.

  • cute girl ;)

  • This video has been very helpful. Thanks.

  • You should have used spanish from Ecuador instead, that's the most neutral spanish you'll ever find in the region. If you don'r believe me ask EF, they only teach Spanish in Ecuador. :)

  • holaaaa=)

  • is not spanish of spain,it's from south america

  • This is so helpful - just what I need. Thanks for making it so easy.

  • cool learning a language that i will spend my whole life time with :) Spain is right underneath me

    P.S She is smoking HOT!

  • I'm learning Turkish ath the best of Turkish. However, I thought I'd visit this site and I think it's a great place for a person to start if they are a beginner or to visit if they just want to hear the language spoken correctly and beautifully. Very nice job. I recommend it. jake

  • sweet!

  • si = sik beni

  • @AnimeVideosGermany hahahah :d

  • lol she is falling asleeeep

  • mi casa es su casa LOL thats all i know

  • Te amo

  • That's South-American spanish, not kastillian (europe-spanish)

  • Ive noticed the accents are quite different

  • shouldnt "quien es usted" mean "who is he/she/it" ?

  • @DanielSahne "who is he/she?" -> "¿Quién es él/ella?

  • she has not a native accent

  • omg! this is so boring! lol i speak spanish! lol i need to learn english!

  • omg! this is so boring! lol i speak spanish! lol i need to learn english!

  • I thought that "eso está mal" means "that is bad" not "this is bad"

  • Girl is pretty :)

  • Esta chava es de Honduras no?

  • si :)

XD

  • What flag is that in the circle? I don't recognise it. The flag of Spain is red and yellow. Is this a form of Spanish from another country? Please excuse my ignorance.

    buen trabajo anyway

  • "BUENO" DIAS¿? chalee JAJAJAJJA

  • The video does not cut out, in some Spanish speaking countries they leave out part of the word, its just the dialect.

  • I can't understand why Spanish has so many pronouns like "I" in English - "Yo", "Me", "Se", "Soy", "Estoy" ?

    Ejemplo:

    Me como un taco.

    Me estoy comiendo un taco

Yo me estoy comiendo un taco

    Saludos!

  • Its called LEARNING a different language and understanding WHY they use those different pronouns. Just because they don't use it in your language doesn't make it incorrect.. Idiota :P

  • ¡Qué joder? is "What the fuck?" in english.

  • what the fuck? is Qué cojones? in spanish.

  • I think the most "international" way would be "¿Qué carajo(s)?

on Mexico we say: ¿Que chingados?

but each country have their own way for say that. :P

  • This lady is really good in speaking Spanish but there is just one thing she got wrong:

I understand is NOT Lo entiendo, it is Lo comprende, or Yo comprende

Oh, sorry, another thing....you do not say "Yo" as it looks, "Yo" is pronounced as "Jo"

  • "I understand" = entiendo / comprendo

"I understand it" = lo entiendo / lo comprendo

By the way: this is Spanish from Latin America. There are many differences with Spanish from Spain.

  • it's correct to say "lo entiendo"as I understand. In southern america spanish it's more common to hear comprender. ;-)

  • Cetta: It means the same thing. It depends on what part of Latin America you are from, and what the "dialect" is in that region. Kind of like "Carro" and "Coche" Same difference. One formal and one informal, but means the same thing.

  • This cuts out. It is awesome Good job.

  • love this, but it cuts out alot in places

  • un acento muy lindo

  • these courses are ok but there is soooooo much more to spanish then just these simple phrases

  • this is absolutely true :( we got more on our site solarnet tv. Spanish is very popular there.

  • andres - this is for Beginners.

people have to start out with simple phrases.

  • of course i understand

    i'm just saying

that is better to use a lenguage from its own country

if what you want to do is teach

  • isnt spanish spoken in alot of countries.

is there a difereance between spain & Mexican

spanish? did she talk with an accent?

  • yes, all countries we have diferent accent, but the better accent are: Mexican and Colombianm the lady of video talk in one centro american accent (guatemala, honduras, el salvador, )

  • I wouldn't say "best" accents... just are the most understandable for native spanish speakers. :)

  • i don't know where she is from, but not spanish. mexican maybe.....¿¿????¿

  • she speaks a little wired for me I´m from mexico and shes from honduras, both contries have a different accent

  • yes, there is a difference between Spain & Mexican.

    She is speaking with honduras´acent.

  • Spanish from Spain and Spanish from the countries of Latin America are very different, not only in the accent, but also the verbal tenses and many different words and expressions. However, we can understand each other easily.

Yes, she talks with a strong accent xD

  • We can understand each other when we speak formally... or at least trying to... xD

    xD

  • @BreezyBrisbane of course she had accent.. I'm from Spain and for me it's easy to difference accents in mexico/chile.. etc... it's spoken in a lot of countries and she had very different accent from us...

  • @BreezyBrisbane yes.. of course she has accent... I'm from Spain and she has a very different accent from us and yes, Spanish is spoken in a lot of countries

  • they should used spanish from spain!

this is like using german from Namibia

    this video just sucks

    btw im mexican

  • I would really appreciate to see a sample of Namibian German, wouldn't you?

We should celebrate the diversity. We should know the diversity. I put the flag of Honduras to indicate that the girl is using her own local language. I expect you'd understand it.

  • what difference would it have made if they would have gotten a spaniard? ur a tard

  • dang it....cnat remeber a thing...lol

  • Great video, thx. I love spanish.

  • i laughed my ass off reading this (kindda funny if you dont speak spanish)

  • Spanish realy flows out of the mouth, qiete sexy this language

  • Guapaaaa Preciosa , un Beso Desde España.

  • It was really fun to make this video and I know my translation was terrible in some sentences because I speak both spanish and english fluently and i was given the script in english! so... sorry about that but about the accent I have lived in Honduras my whole life and i would understand my accent compared to spanish in other regions. Thanks everyone for the positive comments and the negatives one we all have an opinion so ....

:) enjoy hearing the diversity of spanish:)

  • thank you so much for doing this video. Many, many people who wanted to learn some sentences or who just wanted to hear how it sounds or those who would like to experience the way Spanish is spoken in Honduras have thanked you for this in their comments.

And those who don't understand this video for what it is - sorry guys, I'm very ashamed of your narrow-mindness.

  • I have nothing against Honduras, but wouldn't have the Spanish flag been more representative for the language then the Honduran flag?

This was the case for Italian, German, Russian, Turkish and Albanian similar videos!

  • Spanish accent is different in Spain. (Even between Spanish speaking countries) Few words are also different when comparing Spain and South-America. But nothing that would bother you in daily life. I guess that's why.

    Saludos!

  • Whats that flag?? o.O

  • esto está muy bueno :D

  • esto está muy bueno :D

  • i like spanish,it's easy to learn it.i'm from albania and i wanna learn spanish,i have some frend from mexico and they help me to learn spanish

  • that's great, visit us on solarnet tv. We got a forum for people learning Spanish.

  • its a beautiful language to learn..

  • im from mexico city, and i'd like to help you to learn english

  • hmm,.i prefer portuguese.

  • All hispanic chicks are named "maria" *lol*

  • That's Spanish from Central America. NOT Spain NOTMexico, and by the way proper Spanish is said to be the formal Mexican spanish. Look it up = )

    Viva México y España!

  • What differences there are between Spanish from Mexico, Central America and South America?

Do people speak slower in certain regions?

  • hey, im cuban and spanish is my 1st language fyi i understand everything she is saying.. its just basics and shes not using any slang from her native country.. by the way mexicans and all other hispanic countries have their own accents and made up words like "pinche", dont bash her for her nationality, Mexico isnt more special than other latin american countries..Vivan los sexy latinos! :D

  • OMG when she says Tengo calor (I'm hot) I can't help myself and start laughing. SHE IS HOT :)

  • I will place a bet this girl is from Costa RIca, Thats where I'm from, OMG I already speak Spanish but I cant help myself to watch this vid just for her lol

  • she mentions somewhere that she's from Honduras though doesnt she?

  • don't you see the Honduras flag on the video?

  • she sounds like central american or caribean...

(listen again)

  • Central Americans or Carribean Spanish speakers shouldn't teach Spanish to beginners. That should be left up to Spaniards and Mexicans. They have the best Spanish anywhere.

  • Im sure Mexico has the "best" spanish... they have a nice accent too.

  • Spaniards speak the proper Spanish or Castellano, but not Mexicans

  • spanish in argentina is not the best because they pronounce ''y'' and ''ll'' like ''sh'' so if they say ''Yo llamo'' sounds like ''sho shamo'' this is due to the strong Italian influence in that country, in Spain they pronounce ''S'' and ''C'' like ''Z'' like a whistle. A good place to learn spanish would be Bogota (Colombia) since people doesnt have any accent and they pronounce every letter correctly in fact, for people from other spanish speaking countries, ''bogotans speak way too slow''.

  • I'm sorry but Colombians have a very strong accent, specially people from Bogota, Medellin and Barranquilla

  • I'm pretty sure you're colombian...that's why you think Colombia is the best option to lear spanish ( I don't agree)

  • not all the people in Argentine pronunce 'Y' and 'll' like 'sh'.. in the west is sounds more like the english 'y' or like 'i'. i.e. 'yo me yamo' or 'io me iamo'.

And the colombians do have an acent (pretty funny by the way).

  • Anyone learning from this video would be able to communicate in spanish, in a basic but precise way. Let´s remember this is an "easy-tour", with the elementary phrases you may need in a trip.

Her accent is not a problem at all, and makes no difference. She would be perfectly understood anywere.

I´m a spanish speaker, and I give you 5 stars for this video!

  • HABLA FEO. TIENE MALA PRONUNCIACION

  • look. i will say . the pronunciation is good. because the spanish is the same for america but every country have a diferent way to tell, a diferent sound. but the spanish is the same. i live in mexico. and i catch every words from a argentian friend r colombian . ok. bye

  • thank you :)

  • i am a native spanish speaker and let me tell you i sense a small accent as far as her spanish is concerned....

  • this is madrid accent?

  • so is this useful at all in Spain (Barcelona)

  • You could be understood easily with this in Barcelona. The language she´s using is spanish, only that it is a central american variant. But it is very similar to the spanish that you could get ni Spain. It´s not Catalonian at all, by the way. But you will get understood for sure in Barcelona.

  • is this for Spain (Catalan) or other spanish countries?

  • LAJSEW, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!!

I am Costa Rican myself, and CUAL ES SU NOMBRE is PERFECTLY correct and COMMONLY SAID!!! In CR NICARAGUA AND PANAMA FOR SURE!! And elsewhere in Latina America.

AND WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN BY HIGHLAND SPANISH...?!!! Don't tell me you are from Latin America porque estás MAL IMBECIL

  • Im from Argentina , and this! is not a common accent , is Honduranian accent, the best way to speak spanish is to use the Argentinian accent wich is far easy and better AND well-accepted . e.g. she mentions "cual es su nombre" meaning whats your name.but the best , easy way to achieve that is to say " Como te llamas" in that way you will sound more naturally, and you wil use the principle of economic.(or something like that) and that means ( not to use lots of words)

  • Comment removed

  • never say: "Qué?" If you don't understand, it's not polite. It's better to ask: "Cómo?"

  • im black and i want to learn spanishh

  • Excuse me, but is there any difference on how Spanish or whatever language has to be taught because you are black ?

  • And nobody, not even the richest, whitest, blond-haired, blue-eyed, White Anglo-Saxon Protestant Americans that you love to hang around with, even give the slightest rat's ass about how much Italian and/or other European blood you Argentinians have.

  • like we care about it.. see not all of us think we re better cause we have european blood, that´s like saying all americans are stupid, stop generalizing

  • I wonder who the fuck cares here about what US people (WASPs, black, green or whatever) think about anything ? Honeslty.., no one.

  • SHES WRONG!!! THE WAY SHE SAYS IT YOULL ALL GET BEAT UP!!! she says it in a rude or threatening way!!!

  • eso means that not THIS dumbass

  • wrong ...

    This== eso ,esto

    That==aquello..

    denoting places..

this is use in some expression as that in english ...example that is correct .. == eso es correcto but is not denoting a place like this is a chair ==eso es una silla

  • ah touche lol

  • As far as I know both "eso and aquello" is translated as "that", and only "esto" is translated as "this"... I'm from a spanish speaking country.

  • nice, what country?? spanish speaking countrys are the best countries to travel. :p

  • go to spain!

  • of course...go to Barcelona and dare to learn spanish 'castellano'....they will probably make it you more dificult.... Try Canarias

  • why not spain or mexico?

  • why honduras??

  • maybe cause she's from honduras

  • Comment removed

  • And why Mexico or Spain ? Honduras is a Spanish speaking country just like those other 2.

  • HAITI DOES NOT SPEAK SPANISH DUDE

  • Hey everyone! If you would like another way to learn conversational Spanish, check out my profile and watch the dialogue and the dialogue follow up.

    Thanks:)

  • ¿Cual es su nombre?....Can somebody please scream out "anglicism"? :)

(The standard way of saying that is "¿Cómo se llama?" --formal-- or "¿Cómo te llamas?" --informal) Also, it would be best to have a speaker of Highland Spanish as well, since the pronunciation is so different....Even though this girl TRIES not to "eat" some of her vowels and consonants for this video, she still does so at certain points.
