@LTDman77 You have to be smarter than the instrument.. As someone mentioned... this is nothing new. It is just another Q-tron style envelope filter. JGarcia had a Q-tron on his pedalboard and used it with great results, both clean and dirty. Many people use them. I have one (Q-tron) on my pedalboard. I use it clean mostly, but can get good tones with overdrive. A tool is only as good as the hand using it, and every tool has a purpose. This tool was meant for funk, not classic rock. Buy a crybaby
Starting right around 3:22 min in, it sounds like that Edie Brickell song "What I am"... I think the album "Edie Brikell & the New Bohemians" was released in 1988... Blast from the past.
These really are cool pedals though. They seem a bit limited in what they do - but might be pretty cool to try in tasteful moderation.
This has the same features as the Electro-Harmonix Micro Qtron. Also what a shit review and bad explaination of the controls. Also, also, lol, Modtone are just Belcat pedals. Yep the cheap ones from China. The second series Belcat pedals are painted and badged as Modtone and the price is doubled.
can this be used with a bass?

@Prettyflyforabassman i would recommand an ehx qtron or mini qtron for bass as you can fine tune the qtron to the instrument.
