I did something similar with my guitar, it was an old Gibson. I took the pickguard and went to town, it looks insane now. Nice guitar and playing man.
Yep, I think I bought it around 2001, good old SG Standard. I painted a pickguard and put it on, I also have a mirrored one...it confuses people a bit.
