Well, being the owner of a variety of different cars, i'd say mopar over all had the upper hand when it came to the availability of drag cars. But ill be the first to tell you also Ford's 427 cammer engine, chevy's 409, and mopar's 426 hemi, if used in the right combo can give each other a good run for each other's money. Hell the 440's were excellent engines too.

pues yo tengo 2 mustang y puedes checar mis videos, y la neta no me influyen las luces en mis tiempos lo que si influye mucho es el ac pero las luces no al menos que traigas una bateria muy pinche,o un alternador muy madreado, ejemplo, incluso tengo un video de 1/4 milla de noche e incluso traigo fog lights encendidas y neon tambien encendidas, claro mis baterias son de gel de 1000amp.

por eso te digo mi hermano en competencias de 1/4 de milla un segundo perdido en la arrancada te cuesta la carrera y en este video influyen dos cosas para que maverick ganara primero arranco antes y segundo tiene las luces apagadas la cual el motor tienes menos precion de perdida y por ende tiene mas torque en la arrancada porque si te fijas el en resto de la carrera ambos autos se ven hasta el final con la misma distancia hasta el final...

bueno si de porsi los dodge pesan mucho. por el motor el 318 que se gastan porque el 318 te hablo del motor original pesa mucho mas que el 360 aunque el 318 es 5.2 litros y el 360 5.8 los pistones del 360 son mas rebajados y ganarn en relacion peso potencia al 318... la arrancada del dodge depende de esa relacion y la suspencion que se gaste para romper el viento

si tienes razon, y le maverick con su 302 que es menor motor, pero este tipo de motores 5.0 tienen mas torque que ninguno de su clase, es por eso que los paso del diferencial son menores en los 302 que en los dodge que usan un paso muy grande y por lo cual tienen un mayor top speed
