@DefconWarningSystem I'm predicting that North Korea will make a stronger defense line to lower the risk of full scale invasion from South Korea along with the same for the South. Then a accidental attack will happen from training exercises and within a month to year, limited nuclear war would happen and spread fallout to the pacific and end up in Hawaii waters. I'm just guessing...
@nickster2230 We believe that, unless there is a fundamental shift in power in North Korea, eventually a limited nuclear exchange will take place in the Korean theatre.
@DefconWarningSystem I would not trust that. If the ruler of North Korea says that he is steping down from power, I would get ready for a weapons exchange. Kim Kong II can NOT be trusted...
@ChaPatEnd59 This is not new to US Foreign Relations. The problem is that there are so many shades of gray that who you support today may turn out to be the bad guy later. Example? The US supplied the Mujahadeen in Afghanistan during the 1980's. Many of those folks went on to form the first al Queda cells, including one Osama bin Laden when the US refused to publicly support them (most of the equipment was second hand USSR arms shipped through Pakistan via the CIA) against the Soviets.
Thanks for the reply. There are examples of this throughout history, as you've said. I suppose history does repeat itself, especially when those in power do not remember it. >.>
