Wait wait wait wait wait. Hold on there. He just CLUBBERED himself with a wrench? Wow. He's taking the title for least intelligent enemy in all games XD
And yeah, I just got myself a PSX version and I´m going to play it via emulator on my laptop.
Probably gonna use your walkthrough in later parts of the game, to get some of the special items and hidden characters.
OMG, here I am, just braging about me and my experience with game, while I should give U an applause. Really great stuff, so funny and helpfull at the same time. Keep the good work.
thanks, I'm really glad you liked it, FFVI is easily my favorite one in the series, so I worked hard to make this as good as I possibly could ^^ and lets hope you can actually finish this time :) good luck
I actually never even finished the game, played it like 4-5 times, and every time my save would go corrupt or i would delete it while formating the harddisk. And it would always be more than 10h of gameplay. In one playing I almost got to the end, I´ve beaten the dragons and headed on staircase at tower to meat with Kefka. At least I think that´s the end.
Well, today I saw the GT review on FFVI and I almost fucking cried. I love this game so much. Gonna beat it even if I have to play it 100x
Actually. Its on Both. It first appeared as Final Fantasy III in the US on the SNES, but it was ported to the PSX via Final Fantasy Anthology in the US, as the original title, Final Fantasy VI. It was also released seperately in Europe for the PSX as well, as part of a Final Fantasy aniversary collection I believe. In any case, this is indeed the PSX version of the game
My personal favorite is the PSX version. the extra loading times don't bother me, and I like the bonus movies you unlock after beating it along with the picture gallery. I hate the GBA version alot. the classic SNES version is really good too
But some new features in FF6 Advance like character portraits in textbox, new bosses n things like that i really do like. Especially the Quick Save option wich is great for handheld.
But unfortunately the video and audio are significantly worse than SNES version, and the gameplay is to easy. Also, some of the rewritten dialog is bad. I guess those are the reasons u hate GBA ver so much. ;D
Yup it does have a few redeeming qualities though, namely the ENHANCED audio of the opera scene which is my favorite scene in the game. Its almost like SE said "FSck the rest of the games sound quality, lets just make this scene better" lol
Haha you "fix" their names, too. I can't stand their names in all caps, it looks so hideous. I've been fixing those since back when the game first released on SNES.
FF6 was out long before the GBA remakes of 1 and 2 :P, no Biggs and Wedge are reference to the characters from Star Wars, Biggs and Wedge antilles (I can't remember biggs last name) but ya they're star wars references
I find the PS1 version easier to play myself, but mostly its because theres no bonuses to unlock in the SNES version, and the GBA version is a horrible port imo. so ya lol but mostly its too each there own, as we all have different tastes and opinions =)
I always lowercase the letters too. One sorta funny thing that happened to me the first time I played through, after Terra walks out the back door of the house and across the bridge, those guards approach, and they see her up there. Well, the first time around, I guess I wasn't paying attention or something, but I didn't realize I was on a bridge, elevated from them, and I was wondering why they turned around and went the other way. Classic case of stupidity on my part.
lol no different then me not knowing I could move Terra when she was in bed xD I thought it was still part of the auto-sequence, I still get confused by it sometimes lol
lol I just don't like it when its like "And so TERRA ran away to her home to be with EDGAR while SABIN cuts the lumber.." xD also I like keeping my characters with their original names because it makes it seem somehow more real to me I dunno :)
That repo man couldn't handle the fact he just got hit by a girl! xD
I've just managed to get myself a copy of FF6 recently, and wanted to watch a let's play vid while playing it myself! good work by the way! :D

Are they giving the nazi salute to Emperor Gestah or am I seeing to much?

Out of interest, what do you record your emulated videos with?

Good vid, at 8:21 though, were there dogs in the background?
I can't do many videos when I need to talk because I would be using my PC and have two birds to don't ever stop tweeting.
Again, good vid.

Of all the times I've played this game, I've never once seen one of those repo men hit himself with the wrench lol.

Biggs and Wedge are references to the random names of the first two characters in your party in Final Fantasy Dawn of Souls I think.

You probably should *not* get the chests here--they "level-up" later
AzureMage253 4 years ago
yea, I actually never knew that till HC pointed it out hehe. but I have a treasure list now, so I can point out which ones level up and what not
WhitemageSerenia 4 years ago
Hahaha funny story about automated scene. And I'm with you on lowercasing letters, but I usually don't do it on games that give names as is.
