  • Cleve :D I live close by it

  • is duke phillip his son?

  • Duke Phillip is Anne of Cleves' cousin...

  • What I really have to criticize: the Duke is standing in front of a giant eagle. And this eagle is the Imperial Eagle of the SECOND German Empire founded in 1871!

I don't think the Duke of Cleves actually was able to time travel.

  • During this time in his life Henry became very abhorrent and unkind, so we'll never know who Anne was...

But he named her his "beloved sister" and always treated her a way, that agreed with this name...

So, I guess he loved her somehow in a brotherly way...

  • God I miss Natalie. Anne Boleyn was the most fierce and fasinating of all his brides. She was just so full of life. I till this day still think that Herny never loved the was he did Anne Boleyn. He respect KoA, but he did not love her. Anne and Katherine are my favorites of his wives. They were strong and woman to aspire to. Both Anne and Katherine were woman fit to be queens. The rest of his wives were meek little rabits who did as they were told.

  • hell yes... anne boleyn is just SO intriguing and Natalie Dormer gave such a dashing, vivacious and dangerous portrait of that fascinating queen

  • @ConstanceWest Catherine Parr was also strong but she was also smart. Her goal was to outlive the king. She decided she didn't want to be beheaded, annuled and hopefully not die of natural causes before Henry

  • He indeed seems to have an unpleasant nature and it was said that neither he nor his mother had a warm personality why Anne preferred to remain in England. The way he treated his own father after he lost sanity says quite a lot. I understand that he locked him inside his chamber were he then died. Anne had a close relation to he father and might have guessed what will happen to her in case she would return to Cleves.

  • I think there is something uncomfortably 'German Commando' about the Duke of Cleve's portrayal. He seems less Royal than military General somehow.

  • The whole setting (eagle, clothing, manner of speaking, etc.) was quite clichéd. Not to mention the servant's accent! :D

  • episode 7:ehnry incomprehensible! jonathan would have "conviction" her!jane had died os syfilis jonathan said

  • Henry got an annulment on 9 July 1540 a few centeries before I was born on that day , interesting little fun fact I guess

Josh Stone is the singer right?

  • Correct

  • Had no idea that Joss stone was going to be in it...

  • I didn't even know Joss Stone was going to be in the Tudors this season. I have to wait til the dvds come out to watch the seasons. Can't wait to watch season 3 for the birth of Henry's son, and now to see Joss's performance.

  • Can't hardly wait to see her great acting talent. Love you Joss xoxoxo
