If I remember correctly, which is highly suspect at this point, I spent most Friday and Saturday nights in 1981/2/3 at 688 (or Metroplex, Tokyo Beach, Strand, Hedgen's) ... The Roys, Brains, Swimming Pool Q's, Arms Akimbo, Baby and the Pacifiers and a ton of other great bands ... even the little band I was in back then played a weekday night at those clubs ... the Tempus ... it Fugits ... I miss those times ...
