  • Kind of strange that this sort of thing attracts so many fascists and Redneck fans. A pity.

  • I'm just tired of US plastic pop.

Listening to other nations folk doesn't make me nazi.

I enjoy any kind of traditional stuff.

    Slawa Sjabry!

  • Do You see any Right-winged as fascists? 'Caus fascism is just another socialistic mutation... Nationialists and patriots are just proud of their country`s culture. Let`s restore Jagiellonian Empire! Slava!

  • It's about the Grunwald battle of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania(Belarus included)+Poland vs Crusaders(Teutonic Order) in 1410. It was a fierce battle with approximately 30 thousand warriors from each side.

  • text of song is rly wonderful

  • Greetings to all Belarus from Lietuva (Litva)! Stary Osla is woderful.

  • Slawa Slowianom!!

  • i love how Folk tales in Music live on to this modern day.

at least where i live (the US), we are losing our roots, our traditional Musical stylings, our tales of old, created from American Imagination and from where ever we our Herritage traces to.

i Commend Stary Olsa for keeping traditions of old alive, and i hope America tries to keep theirs alive too.

  • @jeffoh92 Thats one of the really good things about Europe. We have huge history and endless source of tales, legends and songs like this. My country (Bulgaria) is 1200 years old and one of the things I like about it is our unique folklore, fairytales, legends and music. On the other hand America is place where all cultures meet and you can have access to all this different people and theyr roots. Just look around and Im sure youll find a lot of interesting stuff to listen to! ;)

  • ..i Chwała!

  • Sława!!!

  • SLAVA!!

  • Krásné, nedokážu si představit, že by takhle dlouho někdo dokázal zpívat, skoro bez doprovodu... :))

  • Amazing :)

  • this is a ballad about the fight of Lithuania against the Crusader Kinights (Belarus at that time was part of Lithuania)

  • Baltvilks I'm sorry to say brother, but at the time the country of Belarus was called Litva and modern Lithuanians were a small part presented by the tribes of Zemaitis .

Belarusian were even referred as "rusians" (not rusSians") to empathise the slovaic origins by Moskas (modern Russians). The problem with our history is that after 1st WW we were under Russian occupation, while Lithuanians managed to form the new republic- Lithuania, and thus kept the name.Belarus was created on the remainders

  • @worldmessagemusic ...remainders of old Litva and the word "Belarusians" was created. Before that Belarusians were known as litvians and in fact were slovaic (unlike Lithuanians). If you don't believe - just check the map of Grand Duchy and also query what language was the government language used in diplomatic correspondence. But bottom line -with all ethnic differences we used to be part of one nation. Belarusians and Lithuanians should unite again under one herb of Great Litvian Warriors.

  • very nice!

i wish i could understand him
