My thoughts exactly girlofwar2. I didn't want to sound like i was bashing him cause i really like the group and this is my first time actually ever seeing them, but on that first vid of "Heavy" live without his guitar, he looked pretty nerdy, but i'm not knocking them just making an observation. Maybe he could get on dancing with the stars and take some lessons LOL...
i just saw them 4/25/08 incredible they were alot louder tho haha...and i was right on the stage by joel rosche...hes awesome i anticipated every solo as a guitar player...what an amazing player he is

Can anyone besides 1jennilynn tell me what happened to Shane? Because 1jennilynn is not permitted to e-mail me, since she told me and probably others to , "Go to another band and leave Collective soul alone"(to her).---Bad PR for CS.
Deans's blog about new CS album "...looking forward to the upcoming shows in September and October where we'll be playing much of the new music. Look forward to seeing you guys out on the road and remember August 28th Afterwords exclusively at Target stores...oh and digitally of course at iTunes. Peace and Love Dean"
Joel's blog "...I think you'll find it's a little different sound for us...there was never any shortage of ideas or different perspectives on what a song might need. Now that I think of it, there was never a shortage of brute-force sarcasm either! I have to say that I'm very proud of this record and I hope you guys enjoy the music on a really loud stereo. Oh yeah, and yours truly has a song on there. Yes, that's right and I'm singing it as well so go easy on me! -Joel" Target & iTunes Tuesday!
Bye Shane, we all miss yooooooou! Ryan's a great replacement but Shane will always have a special place in our hearts for his good looks, killer drumming skills, a fan favorite for life!
One deranged-or-not-person decides, after careful planning, to massacre students and faculty. If he kills the music along with the lives then we heve given him power. I won't let him shred my good memories of a great band. I don't know what his "issues" were but mass murder wasn't the answer. To his victims (and that includes his family and culture) I give my condolences. To him I give...nothing.
Everyone calm down. The "Korean" guy did not plan his evil for a long time. He was a poor kid that believed in peace but dickhead preps picked on him and kept it up. If he killed the people that made fun of him, I'm for him. Listen to the music and stfu about VT. No one cares.
Well I wouldn't go as far as saying that you should be "for him" Most of the people he killed didn't even know him = they were innocent. But it wouldn't hurt to stop talking about it =]
why did you have to say "the korean killer," as if it would make a difference if he was white or black? did you also say the white killer,Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold , killed twelve students.
"mrxcoolio3" - No you PC TURD, "Mikhael77" probably wrote "KOREAN" because he wanted a crystal clear descriptive of who this piece of garbage was. At the same time, it would NOT at all be the same if a white or black man did this, oh the tragic evil horror would of course be similar, BUT whites founded this country, blacks brought here against their will- but still are a concrete part of American society.
haha... are you seriously joking with me? "Crystal clear descriptive of who this piece of garbage was?"
where was this "crystal clear descriptive" imagery you talking about when the "beltway sniper" was captured?Or what about timothy mcVeigh? and lets not talk about history as if you know better. because if you did, you would know this country was not founded by "whites." Check out the Princeton article on "History of America."
Man, illogical DOUCHES like you just make me SAD! Every news channel on the planet called Malvo & Muhammad BLACK MEN about 50 million times, & rightfully so. What rock were you under!? As for McVeigh, there is no extra news worthiness in noting his race because from his name 'Timothy McVeigh' it is obvious that he is a white man from Irish extraction. Nobody knows what a "CHO SEUNG-HUI" is- man, woman, carrot !?!? ... turns out it was a demon from hell.
As for history, I KNOW it far better than YOU. You write that I should read a Princeton article, would that be the same Princeton started by the WHITE Presbyterians from Europe! Listen spittoon, you're way out of your element here, I know how & who, started this country. Thousands of history books of the past 200+ years, from countries all over the world tell the story in graphic detail. I don't think 1 article is going to sway anyone from the facts - except maybe pinheads like YOU.
aye "Pee Brain," calm down for a second with all of the name calling. I cited that source because I graduated from there. And isn't it funny how certain people that claims to know so much, knows nothing at all? why don't you stick to your dj'ing and leave issues like this up to the professionals.
It doesn't matter what he listened to. He planned his evil for a long time. This studio version is hopeful and peaceful and when they do it live it's awesome and energizing. One sad, deranged-or-not person cannot destroy everything good. No way.
