I enjoy this game, but for me it's let down by queue times. It's impossible to get into a match of Domination, Escalation or Interdiction. Even when I've had the patience to wait in a queue for over 20 minutes, nothing happens. I paid for this game, and for the downloadable content to play the above game modes, & can't get into a match, having to make do with Acquisition, Sabotage & Suppression. I feel swindled; I paid for something that the seller doesn't provide in return.

Raven sucks void! Literally! I just played a match of domination with my account and was the best of the squad with 1000+ points and 38 kills. 4 seconds before the end they kicked me for being better. Do yourself a favor: Avoid Raven. No teamwork spirit to speak of in this garbage dump of a PMC!

@Rewind207 There both good games. Personally i like MAG better because it is different from all of the other games in the fact that it has so many players online at once. But as you may expect it is NOT mayhem. It is objective based gameplay (although you dont have to do the objectives). If you like objective based games then i would go with MAG however if you like the traditional shootem up free for all go with COD

@zemmajr ACTUALLY MAG COULD BE on xbox360 because you can port all those games from one console to another with just a little adjustments on graphics etc. But because the creators of MAG made a DEAL with SONY so people WOULD buy a PS3 to play MAG (just like the creators of Killzone, Ratchet and Clank, Grand Turismo, etc. did)... It's a simple piece of marketing. Sony pays the creators some money so they could advertise together and PS3 gets more buyers... xbox did that with HALO, Forza, etc.
@Tobiasoaz I feel I have to disagree - from what I've read, the Xbox wouldn't be able to handle that many players at once. MAG may have had a deal with Sony, but the only other platform it could realistically run on would be the PC... and we have Battlefield for that anyway =p.

MAG is my favorite FPS of 2010. I dont care if most people dont agree, most people love CoD which is normally just terrible though Black Ops wasn't too bad, or Battlefield, which is better than CoD but still not quite there, MAG is what set off this kind of FPS for me.

@TheDylan5 dude, same thing happened to me! I fixed it though. Try deleting your utility data of the game, NOT SAVE DATA! Then try installing it again. :)
well most tournament games dont have Story modes or off live because they focus on the multiplayer. Thats just my guess im probably wrong though so dont take my opinion
I hear people of this game are like the stupid idiots of call of duty, meaning never working together, always out for themselves, despite the team organization and ranking, i wish just once people would play as, for instance for this game, a well organized and efficient army unit capable of surprising tactics and even able to perform shock and awe from the commanding positions
@WintersFinalstand Well after the new patch everyone seems to be using more teamwork. The new rookies and stuff are more out for themselves but if you want to survive and do good, its pretty much forcing you to use team work.
@J1ZZ3D In what ways, it is upsetting when i have to play Bad Company 2 to find any form of cooperation like for instance my last game my squad was listening to me and that grew to me actually commanding the team with brutal efficiency involving distractions fire teams anti air groups and i guess you could also call one squad my hunter seekers point is that my opponents were being beat back time and time again with little ground achieved that is the true nature of command in the field

@FutureMiddy If you like shooters get Killzone 2 or Uncharted 2. Otherwise get Modnation Racers. Resistence is also pretty good and as always Gran Turismo 5 is an option.

@pspguy2013 well i just got the game a week ago and have been playing it everytime i've been within 5 meters of my ps3. I don't know how long ago you played it or how different it was, but to me, this is one of the best games EVER made, i personally like it better than MW2 and BF2, but its all opinion. The one thing about this game tho, is that you have to be really patient because you will die ALOT when you start because of all the ppl, i kno this has been a turn off for some. but o well.

@tallassb MAG 2 is already here. Remember MAG 2.0....thats MAG 2, they basically said that on mag blog that its almost like a new game. And make a new seperate MAG game would be dumb because they can already update the game with new game modes. There's a reason why they are making modes like interdiction and esculation for paying people only. MAG will be here until zipper wants to destroy mag servers. Making MAG 2 would be a huge waste of money.

@tallassb To tell you the truth, graphics to mag and MW2: MW2 wins but the graphics in MAG are good enough. I love the fact how 256 players play this game with no lag, yet a halo 3 match will sometimes do lagfest on you. MAG at first will be a bit boring to you(it was to me) but trust me, it will get fun, you WILL be surprised. I CANNOT STOP PLAYING THIS GAME. Plus when new game modes come out, mag does free beta tests. Another thing, noobs ARENT squad leaders. Level 8 required. Earn it be proud

But dude....Valor is the loosing PMC, as in the very last PMC to be winning now(3rd Place). Even Raven is taking them down. Im training 3 characters, my sver, valor, and raven...that way, if sver starts to break down and loose war, i can just switch characters to winning PMC xD

@iiSup3rior You first start at squad leader. Then you need to keep becoming a squad leader and earn 100 exp from it, to be ranked up. Its not easy as it sounds.
@tallassb Dude, if you get MAG it will be a very good investment, especially since bestbuy is selling mag for $25 or with another 'best hits' game for just $40. That's what i did and I've been very satisfied.

@TheDylan5 dude, same thing happened to me! I fixed it though. Try deleting your utility data of the game, NOT SAVE DATA! Then try installing it again. :)

I hear people of this game are like the stupid idiots of call of duty, meaning never working together, always out for themselves, despite the team organization and ranking, i wish just once people would play as, for instance for this game, a well organized and efficient army unit capable of surprising tactics and even able to perform shock and awe from the commanding positions

@WintersFinalstand Well after the new patch everyone seems to be using more teamwork. The new rookies and stuff are more out for themselves but if you want to survive and do good, its pretty much forcing you to use team work.

@J1ZZ3D In what ways, it is upsetting when i have to play Bad Company 2 to find any form of cooperation like for instance my last game my squad was listening to me and that grew to me actually commanding the team with brutal efficiency involving distractions fire teams anti air groups and i guess you could also call one squad my hunter seekers point is that my opponents were being beat back time and time again with little ground achieved that is the true nature of command in the field

@WintersFinalstand Well I just played a game. Its no BFBC2 but your team will still help you out and give you cover. And I'm sure if your a high ranker the smart people will listen to you (I know I would!)

I just want to know what the best online multiplayer game for the PS3 is and I would also like to know if people are actively playing Mag, like will I be able to find a match if I buy this game? @FutureMiddy If you like shooters get Killzone 2 or Uncharted 2. Otherwise get Modnation Racers. Resistence is also pretty good and as always Gran Turismo 5 is an option.

@pspguy2013 well i just got the game a week ago and have been playing it everytime i've been within 5 meters of my ps3. I don't know how long ago you played it or how different it was, but to me, this is one of the best games EVER made, i personally like it better than MW2 and BF2, but its all opinion. The one thing about this game tho, is that you have to be really patient because you will die ALOT when you start because of all the ppl, i kno this has been a turn off for some. but o well.

@tallassb MAG 2 is already here. Remember MAG 2.0....thats MAG 2, they basically said that on mag blog that its almost like a new game. And make a new seperate MAG game would be dumb because they can already update the game with new game modes. There's a reason why they are making modes like interdiction and esculation for paying people only. MAG will be here until zipper wants to destroy mag servers. Making MAG 2 would be a huge waste of money.

@tallassb To tell you the truth, graphics to mag and MW2: MW2 wins but the graphics in MAG are good enough. I love the fact how 256 players play this game with no lag, yet a halo 3 match will sometimes do lagfest on you. MAG at first will be a bit boring to you(it was to me) but trust me, it will get fun, you WILL be surprised. I CANNOT STOP PLAYING THIS GAME. Plus when new game modes come out, mag does free beta tests. Another thing, noobs ARENT squad leaders. Level 8 required. Earn it be proud

But dude....Valor is the loosing PMC, as in the very last PMC to be winning now(3rd Place). Even Raven is taking them down. Im training 3 characters, my sver, valor, and raven...that way, if sver starts to break down and loose war, i can just switch characters to winning PMC xD

@iiSup3rior You first start at squad leader. Then you need to keep becoming a squad leader and earn 100 exp from it, to be ranked up. Its not easy as it sounds.

You must have like uber connection if you didnt experience lagg before v1.07

@DrBlueDot my connection isn't the strongest and i RARELY experience lag, the matches where i will get lag are domination and that's mabye 10% of the times at most. I've been playing over the past week and have found this game to be amazing.
